At this point I'm positive that the A's have more fans out of state than in state, and stuff like that doesn't even end up on their radar as things to care about lol.
The A's field grass is always 10/10 though.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

also, Tommy John for HoF: most famous pitcher, nay, most famous player to ever lace'em up. not a day goes by someone somewhere has TJ on their mind
I've told my friends for years that if you took every MLB radio and TV broadcast in history and added up how many times every player's name was mentioned, Tommy John would be at the top of the list and if he wasn't then he eventually will be.

Yeah, just heard that on WFAN, wow. The report also said he's going to appeal.

              MLB Off-Topic

              I’m sure he’s appealing that.

DA won’t charge him because his accuser’s story was all over the place, but MLB is going to suspend him two years? Makes zero sense.

Doubt we get to see anything, but I'm definitely curious to what MLB investigators found (if anything).

I'm listening to WFAN. They hosts said MLB doesn't need the 'burden of proof'
that you would need in a court of law.

Yeah I guess so. Still seems like you'd need a little more evidence to hand out a 2 year suspension

2 years is such a long time. Seems ridiculous from what we know so far.

The suspension is 324 games…starting today.

So this stretches into the start of the 2024 season.

Manfraud has an axe to grind it seems.

                              This is confusing to me.

The county is not pursuing criminal charges because they realize they don't have evidentiary support...but MLB does? There's one example where a woman accused Bauer of actions she asked him to do via text, so the judge ruled it out.
