Which makes me wonder...what if Bell actually is the top bidder for sponsorship patch? Rogers would refuse and take the 2nd highest offer to spite them wouldn't they?

Knowing how things have ended up in Canada, the Jays sponsor will be PointsBet (if gambling companies are allowed)

Yeah for sure. Gambling ads are all over Rogers TV now. Can’t stand it.

An Insider investigation based on research by Meredith Wills found evidence that during this season, MLB circulated three distinct sets of game balls.

This should be as big a story as steroids. But it is conveniently glossed over. There's evidence that they used juiced balls for bigger events lol. What?!

Just like steroids though. It's not just one guy that allowed this. This story has been well suppressed though.

This probably won’t matter to anyone but me, but me and my brother loved Prime 9 way too much and were really upset when they stopped making it. My mom texted me this morning that it’s all on Apple TV+, I guess part of the deal with MLB.

Going through now, they have random episodes of This Week in Baseball going back to the 70s, Great Games for most of the years going back to 1980, and a few before. I just never knew any of it was there.

40 years ago today the Jays traded Tom Dodd and Dale Murray for Mike Morgan, Dave Collins and some A ball hitter named Fred McGriff.

Funny thing, take McGriff out of the deal and Jays still win it. Yankees traded Dodd to the Jays months prior in a deal for Mayberry.

Balls have been juiced, anyway. Weight is but one component that can get a ball to go extreme distances. Like the women you see play softball in the College World Series are absolutely not using the same kind of softball that you see in those slowpitch softball Home Run Derbies. You can simply look at/hold the two balls and you'll understand what I mean. The ball may be carrying like an extra 40% for all I imagine, and I don't know how different they actually even are in weight.

All I'm saying is in the past several years, the long ball has been someone artificially produced by the ball itself. I think they actually tamed it a lot this year in comparison, but it's not back to 2010 or anything.
