Bally's scorebug is driving me ape-**** crazy.
I foolishly hoped they would have retooled it over the winter but I guess I'm stuck with it for at least one more season.
surely there's no way they bring it back for 2024

I always think of Bally's as a chain of fitness centers. So they actually own/run the sports networks their name is on, they're not just sponsors?

Maybe you'll get lucky and Bally's will go bankrupt like all the other regional sports networks?

Wonder if idiotstick Manfred is taking note that ratings for the WBC are crushing it... without a pitch clock, larger bases, or the shift?

I see that logo and that's what I think about lol. Bally's apparently had a lot of other businesses kinda like Virgin does.

I wish MASN would figure it's **** out. But that's unlikely. Angelos was smart not to get involved with those other large networks and just own it himself.

Absolutely unheard of. Opening Day for the Cincinnati Reds is always sold out as soon as tickets become available in February. Here we are at the end of March and you can still buy tickets in the primary market.

The Castellini’s have officially killed fan interest in Cincinnati.

Well obviously, I mean where else are they gonna go?

Sarcasm aside, that just seems like a ballpark that you really want to see alive all the time. Such a shame that their ownership screwed up so badly.

for starters, the Cincinnati Art Museum is having a docent guided tour of "Georgia O'Keeffe, Photographer".
might be a better option than any exhibit the Castellini's are putting on

Bittersweet to hear Pat Tabler will be joining the Guardians broadcast booth.

Great that he's still broadcasting, but I hate Sportsnet cutting him in the first place. I loved Jays broadcasts with any combination of Dan,Pat,Buck (my second fave group of broadcasters in current Canadian sports next to Matt and Jack for the raptors)

Cleveland, get ready go learn that Jose Ramirez is a baseball player. And that striking people out is Biebers bread and butter.

What's really most interesting about this is I simply see this as just a matter of fact statement rather than condemning anybody in any sort of way. The contract in foresight was right, given their budget they are spending wisely on their 26-man roster, and some contracts (Votto, Moustakas) will just need to be unloaded in time.

As I said earlier though, this franchise and stadium deserves to draw attention, so if they can increase their budget and talent pool over time and get Griffey off their damn books, maybe the NL Central will get a bit redder on the top again. There's no better time than now.

until today, I didn't realise what a joke the MLB draft has become the last 10 years.
teams have 3 weeks to negotiate with drafted players. then if you don't want to play for pitiful franchise, if you're great enough, you can manage to hold out 1 month and a rich team can come in and sign. I'm assuming a team losing a pick that way receives compensation, but the haves can afford it, the have-nots can't. I mean, say the worst run franchise loses their #1 pick but can't afford him, that player goes where the grass is greener just 1 month later. the team losing their pick receives, what, a compensation pick later, that can hold out 1 month himself for a better deal too. a vicious circle that could repeat itself, once these youngsters eventually realise have so much more to gain by waiting 1 month before they are basically an immediate free agent. what in the hell am I missing here? honestly, someone please enlighten me

Seems unfair considering he’s the best player on the 2023 Cincinnati Reds
