Man, the Royals players dropping off like that is disappointing, but not surprising. Manfred was having none of that. Gotta sweep the stuff away, along with the Cards hacking mess lol.

Kipnis and Altuve are probably the two best second baseman in all of baseball right now. They're both tearing it up this year.

Kipnis is putting up first-baseman numbers at 2B while playing good defense and running the bases well.

The .388 BABIP isn't going to last, but it's called a career year for a reason.

Kipnis' BABIP won't stay quite this high, but the way he's hitting, we can expect it to stay fairly high (link). Once his BABIP regresses, we can probably expect him (link) to hit roughly .323/.386/.472 (.368 wOBA), which is pretty elite.

Yesterday made 110 years to the day that Moonlight Graham played his only game/inning in the MLB.

That question is gonna become more and more common with a negative response as the answer. It's 24 years old now. That's before the newest generation of adult baseball fans were born. We're gonna have to get used to generations from here on out that have never seen it. Sad....

There are probably younger fans who haven't seen the Sandlot either.

You're an outlier. You probably still watch games in June even if the Jays were in last place so it's safe to say you're a bigger fan of the overall game too. ;-)
