Can't believe Joe West only got a 1-game suspension. If Papelbon did what Joe West did, he'd get 20 games. Ridiculous.

West got without pay, Pap got with pay. Probably hurts West more. It's still a joke.

Guess I'm now the fan of a team affiliated with Astros.

Fresno is looking like the likely destination for the Astros’ Triple-A affiliate in 2015. But does it make sense for either Fresno or for Houston?

UPDATE: The Fresno Grizzlies Twitter account confirms multiple reports that the team will join Houston's top-rated system, with a press conference and release later this afternoon.

We're thrilled to reach an agreement with the @astros. Be ready to see the No. 1 farm system play at Chukchansi Park. Press release coming.

Fresno and Houston seems a ways off but hey like the twitter account said at least you'll be watching a loaded farm system.

A ways off, how about Oakland signing a deal with Nashville. I guess they won't be calling guys up in a pinch anymore.

Never understood why affiliates aren't permanent and much, much closer to the professional team.

.....also, not sure this video could be any more perfect:

Yeah the was the one thing I pulled from the whole thing that peaked my interest. Not all a loss I guess.

Having Sacramento shuttle an hour away was certainly useful.

Yeah that certainly made sense. I get that. About the only thing really.

I miss Louisville being the AAA affiliate of the Cardinals. Used to love watching guys in minors then on TV.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

And I am no longer a fan of a team that will eventually end up as the Giants AAA. Makes me hate the Giants org even more for stealing away the River Cats.

Incomplete map, only has the official announced moves.

Wow, some of those are ridiculous.

Ron Washington resigned due to cheating on his wife

Man, gotta respect Washington for taking full responsibility and trying to make things right with his wife after all that. I may think of him as a crappy and somewhat lucky manager but as a human being I respect him for taking responsibility and trying to do the right thing for his marriage.

I wish him much luck in getting his personal life back in order.
