Anywho, I love the Fathers' Day unis but that's because I love the powder blue caps.
But beyond that, are they not gonna wear Canada day jerseys for that weekend?

Well technically the red jerseys ARE their Canada Day unis sooo

BTW nice to see the Jays rocking the white panel hats for their home opener. I wonder if they'll go so far as to wear white panel helmets. I doubt it but it'd be sweet.

lol and just like that, Jays wore white panel helmets. Those looked so cool.

White panel hats should be their alternate hats.

I have a question for sabermetric-heads out there:

As great as these numbers are (and trust me, they are terrific), how can lower-level leagues benefit from the same kinds of numbers? I'm sure minor leagues have them, but what about college? High school? Little league (I'm talking LLWS as well)? Heck, even softball (like I coach)? What about for scouting/recruiting?

Unfortunately even if they had the computer technology to make these things possible, the standards just don't work out the same. You can barely even do ERA+ or BABIP appropriately in something like Little League.

I think this is a reason why the TC stats will never die. There are levels that can simply never incorporate things that you can in the big leagues, either because of consistency or technology or what have you. Those measures simply aren't there in the same way.

What sabermetrics do you think lower level leagues can use that could benefit them?

I calculate BABIP for my high school team. I don't see why it wouldn't work in LL. The other stats I tend to agree with you about.

Seattle sold 18K cooked grasshoppers in 3 days.

The Seattle Mariners are imposing a per-game order limit on toasted grasshoppers after the club sold 901 orders the first three games of the season.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Almost as equally impressive as the end result of this video is the editing/experiment within this video itself.
