    I know that, but I meant specific to this year.

    2019 could have 3 of the big 4 champs all as 1st time champs.

        Of the 7 teams to have never won a World Series, but the best chance is the Milwaukee Brewers this year. The next best I guess would the Rays.
        I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

        I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

            Rangers/Brewers would be like the Blues (droughts for 50+ years).

            Rays and Rockies I'd say would be like the Raptors (the only 90s expansion teams without a WS)

                So which mlb teams are the blues or raptors equivalent and contenders to end this insane decade in sports as the champs?
                They don't have the longest championship drought but the Braves have not won a postseason series since 2001. They took players in this year's draft that haven't been alive for a Braves postseason victory.

                    MLB and MLBPA are going to the bargaining table to start discussion on a new CBA. Good to see they are starting early to hammer out the grievances and all.

                                    John Smoltz has been on 154-game bandwagon for years.

                                        I'd only support a shorter season if they eliminated interleague play. I like how the same league/division games are set up currently.
