MLB could bring generated quick counts to real life. every pitcher batting starts off with a 2-0 count as divisive and polarizing as the DH is, we should all be thankful it's evil cousin the Designated Runner didn't catch on. as specialised as the game becomes with every passing year, in a hundred years baseball could be split into like when football's two-way players went extinct. in a hundred years players will either be hitters or fielders, but not both. Caulfield's crystal ball has spoke.

2020 is gonna be that year isnt it.....

Tony Fernandez is in critical condition with kidney complications.

One of the Jays all time greats. One of the more unique career paths. Part of Jays for first 8 seasons of his career, winning 4 gold gloves and being part of 3 all star games. Then traded in the Alomar/Carter deal which led to Jays winning the WS in 92.

He then returned to the Jays in 93 and was part of their WS team then. He left after, returned again, left again before returning again for his 4th and final stint with the Jays.

But certain ones stand out the most.

2016 for me is the worst one in terms of major deaths.

I hadn’t heard about this. Makes me sad.

The one time I'm semi interested in who the Mets are playing since they're 10 minutes away.

I've said it every year. MLB spring training is the one preseason I care about and get excited for.

No matter the expectations or who's on the roster, I love watching ST baseball. Sure, part of it is because by May most games start being pointless, been that way for too many years here, but still fun to have ST.

This year they made major changes to Jays ST stadium. I wonder how it'll come off on TV, but I look forward to seeing them giving tours of the stadium on TV.

                        From Peter Gammons

More Gammons: "The Sox don't think they are going to get really hit [from the investigation], but you just don't know."

"Chris Young told me, 'Kind of my idea, I started the whole Apple Watch thing. I got it from when I was with the Yankees.'"
IDK the Apple Watch timeline, but he was with the Yankees in 2014 and 2015, and went to the Sox in 2016. He could be lying, he could be letting another cat out of the bag.

I just read about that. I'm always curious about how Stubhub has so many tickets on sale for games. I doubt they're the only employees of a team to sell tickets on Stubhub.

I dont expect this to reach the righteous indignation from opposing players as the furor over electronic sign stealing unless it effects their bank balance?

The Phillies are retiring Roy Halladay's #34 this year on May 29th. 10 year anniversary of his Perfect Game against the Marlins. I'm definitely getting tickets for that game.

I'm actually surprised to learn the Phillies didn't already retire it.
