I'm sure he is. That's probably most men his age, but I just find it funny that is all.

I always thought that guy looked sketchy. Never liked him when he was in Toronto.

I said I was going to be strong...with the slow FA season, the annual baseball publications are even more out of date than usual this year. I didn't plan on getting any of them...but as soon as I saw them, I snapped up all 3 (Street & Smiths, Athlon, Lindys). It's been freezing where I am and we haven't seen much sun over the last few months, so flipping through these has been more than worth the price of admission!

I never liked him either, but that was for completely different reasons. You trade Michael Young for him!?!

One of the MANY things that frustrated me about the Jays from mid 90s until mid 00s.

Young would've been such a great guy to have in Toronto "sigh"

Imagine if Jays just kept people. You'd have lineup containing Young, Green, Delgado, then pitching staff with Halladay, Carpenter, Escobar. Late 90s/early 00s was just horribly managed years in the city.

After the DUI he got while playing in Oakland they decided to stop providing beer to both clubhouses after games.

Sad day in Blue Jay land as long time PBP radio voice Jerry Howarth calls it a career after 36 years. He's citing health issues as the reason for his retirement. I grew up listening to Tom and Jerry as a kid and they were the comforting voices of summer. Jerry has done some great work since the passing of Tom Cheek even though some of his partners in the booth have been less than stellar.

I hope he has many years of happy retirement.

While Cheek is the one people seem to remember most(specifically for his Joe Carter call), Howarth is the one I found to be the best Jays broadcaster on tv or radio.

This has just been a sad offseason for the franchise all around.

For the first time, the Rockies will be honoring the Negro League team that played in Denver from 1915-1935, the Denver White Elephants.

This is probably what the jersey will look like.

I know I shouldn't be surprised by anything anymore, but "White Elephants" as a name for a negro league team is just wow. I can see why they waited this long to "celebrate" that team

Of all the bad puns and jokes I make, even I don't wanna touch that one

                                I like the jersey though
