    Sure.

I'd prefer not messing with anything unnecessarily of course, but if the DH is inevitable then making it like this would seem to make more sense then "hey you can bat but don't have to field or do anything else that baseball players do."

****ing keep the NL as it is, good lord.

Just please lessen the pain while changing my great NL ball, that's all.

But if you're going to tinker with stuff, the AL doesn't need to be touched with this either.

I'm not a fan of universal DH, but I think if it truly is inevitable that the double hook is the way to go. It brings about a DH, but doesn't simplify the role of a manager from the pitching side.

Interesting idea, but I wonder why the union would go for it, as it would almost certainly drive DH value/salaries down. Who's going to pay big bucks for a hitter who will almost never get an at-bat after the 6th/7th inning?

Pretty good interview here with former Mets hitting coach Chili Davis. It’s definitely concerning that they’re more concerned with following their analytics process than they are getting results

Interesting. He said similar things about the Cubs when he was fired.

Don’t know if anybody else has posted this but I’ve just seen it.

The Braves won 44 games before the all star break.

44 games after the all star break.

And won the World Series during the 44th week of the year.

Hank Aaron passed away this year and of course wore the number 44.

                Crazy.

Or...Yadi has found a way to forever be a Cardinal by replicating himself into current and future Cardinal players.

Royals are unveiling new uniforms on Friday.

No idea if they're primary or alternates, but several guesses on Twitter are that they're bringing back their all-baby blue throwbacks.

MLB owners have agreed to provide housing for roughly 90% of all minor leaguers. The only ones that don't qualify are ones already with a Major League contract, or anyone making more than 6 figures.
