Kind of reminds me of when the sport of cricket was creating T20. Or even like The Hundred in England.
I dunno, why can't they just try 6-inning regular baseball?Comment

The Twins named Joe Ryan their Opening Day starter.
He's the first Twins rookie to start Opening Day since 1969.Boston Red Sox

Re: MLB Off-Topic
Speaking of opening day starters, Jays name Berrios their opening day starter.
They legitimately had 3 good options to choose from.
Ryu started the last 2 for the Jays.
Berrios started for the Twins in 2019/2020
Gausman started last year for the Giants
Poor Rangers. You're starting your season likely facing Berrios,Gausman,Ryu.Last edited by Majingir; 04-01-2022, 06:34 AM.Comment

Re: MLB Off-Topic
So the Yankees are going to have 21 of their games on Amazon prime instead of local tv this year. I know most households have prime but damn they’re making it harder and harder to watch. If you’re a local Yankee fan and you want to watch every game you’ll need cable, Apple TV, and prime now plus MLB supposedly has some sort of deal with Peacock tooComment

Use to be for the Mets nice and easy. They are on SNY most times during the week, then they on CW on the weekend or channel 11 if you prefer. Wiht the occasional espn game
Now we have espn, apple tv, mlb network, sny, maybe peacock, maybe fox.
So basically I need to spend $300 a month just to catch every Mets game to be sure I have ever channel.Mets Baseball, All Day Every Day

Re: MLB Off-Topic
Yeah this makes no sense to me what MLB is doing. NFL even doing it. Why do we need to have 9 different ways to find a game

I’m probably wrong. I know the younger generation streams most of their entertainment, but this doesn’t seem like the way to grow your game.
Maybe I’m just too old.
