Sorry to burst it, but Creatine really doesnt help, and it wont aid in the bulking up process. I took part in a major study with creatine, and the only thing that it did was add a few reps at the end of a final set. No major strength gain, no weight gain, etc.

I also have extensive experience with supplements, and there are many many different types of steroids. Not all of them will begin to break your body down as some of you suggest.

The biggest thing with me is I am bothered by not how big Barry is, but when he got that big. At a time when he should be slowing down, he is stronger and in better shape than when he was in his "prime". Maybe he is a late bloomer?

Also, as far as being tested--give me a break. A guy could shoot a CC of Deca into his *** cheek on monday, and buy the right over the counter masking agents at GNC, drink enough cranberry juice, etc...and test negative on Friday. I have seen it happen. So if/when he tests he wont test positive. The only way athletes get caught is if they are not prepared.

I see you're very ignorant in the ways of Creatine aren't you? Have you ever taken it? Well, I have so I can tell you from experience. Creatine's main function is to help boost ATPs in your body, which helps to boost energy in your muscles, allowing you to perform more reps and become stronger short term. Since the creatine helps you do more reps, you are able to lift heavier weights. As your weight training weight increases, you get stronger. Muscle definition begins to form. Creatine is also used to help speed up the recovery process, because the recovery process is the most important step in gaining muscle mass. The faster you can recover, the faster your muscles heal and begin to increase in mass. I took Creatine for my weight training and in little more than 6 weeks I gained about 6-8 pounds of muscle. So it is very possible that in the course of 10 YEARS Barry Bonds could have trained and added the weight he needed. So that should not even be an option of conversation. And let's also not forget that all Barry Bonds does is work out, he is a professional baseball player. He prolly dedicates 6 months out of the year just exercising. With all that time on your hands to work out, it is VERY possible to perform the gains he has. And let's not get into this whole "head bigger=steroids" garbage. You're body, scientifically, will only grow to the human size that it's suppose to grow, it doesn't grow anymore after that. You can't just "Grow extra bone!" I dont' know one guy who's broken off his leg and grown a full new one, if you have, SHOW ME THE MAN! Just from my own personal preference I can assure you that creatine is a very powerful supplement. Some say that some of the factors of creatine are more powerful that your illegal steroids. Someone also brought up the fact that if he used steroids, his body would have degenerated by now, which is true. Look how long McGwire lasted after taking them, about 2 years tops. Conseco: couple years. And let's all not also be hipocrites either, because no one EVER talks about how MCGwire did steroids. We all know he did, but for some reason no one is accusing him, nor asking him questions about the subject. Because we know that everybody loves McGwire and no one wants to see his reputation get ruined. So if we're gonna talk about how Bonds is a crook and what not, let's talk about how past players such as McGwire are no good crooks a well who should ALSO (in your words) have an asterik next to their records.

How do we know that McGwire took steroids? Yes he took andro, but to the best of my knowledge, that's not a steroid. It wouldn't surprise me if he did, but there's no proof of it.

Canseco's another story. He admitted to steroids and there's no doubt he took them.

            Re: Barry Bonds is ....

I want to also add another opinion about the "increased skull size" minutiae. Your skull size, bone in general, is not going to increase in size. It's the MUSCLES around the cheeck and face bones that increase in size. This is just common sense. No offense to any large people or small people reading this, but look at a overweight person and a skinny person. The overweight person's face is HUGE compared to the skinny person's face. That's because he has more fat around the skull, the skull stays the same size though. Also when your work out and you get huge, the added hormones and what-not cause the muscles in your face to increase in size. That's why it gives off the impression that Barry Bond's head, skull wise, actually increases. But that's not the case, it's just the muscles around the skull that increase in size. And my goodness, just look at the NFL players! Some naturally work out using suppliments, and they are huge, but no steroids. With all the different supplements out there, there really isn't even a need to use steroids. Especially when you can afford all the supplements out there! Most take steroids because it's a cheap, quick fix for someone who doesn't have enough time to get the proper results with proper exercise and dieting. Barry has been in the league for how long? Like 10+ years? I'm sure he has enough time on his hands

But no one will outright accuse him of it like they are doing with Bonds! I don't think McGwire has even been asked about the steroid situation. Everyone is willing to jump on Bonds about him possibly taking steroids, but when we talk about McGwire then everyone says, "Oh no, not McGwire, he's a respectable man, he would never do anythign like that!" If there's one thing I hate the most, it's people who are hipocrites! We bash Bonds and then try to protect McGwire, who, by some of the people's convictions' in this board, shows obvious steroid use. So for the people against Bonds who ask the question, "There is no possible way any man can gain that much muscle in that short period of time?" I want to ask those people if they are fans of McGwire? Using this question, then I will ask "How is it possible that a man like McGwire could gain so much muscle in a short period of time? I know the answer, or at least the answer that most people would ignorantly conclude without proper evideNce, that "OH, HE DID STEROIDS!!!"

There are so many falsities in this rambling incoherent blarber I honestly do not know where to start.

First of all, I started taking creatine when you were 7. I have taken nearly every "supplement" available. I was part of 2 professional, published studys on creatine.

I am glad you had strength gains while taking creatine. 6-8 pounds of complete lean muscle gain in 6 weeks is am amazingly astonishing accomplishment. You should be quite proud. I am not offended in any way by your statements...you simply do not know any better.

I am not going to spend the time picking apart your posts. I mean, how could I respond to the well-thought out statement "I dont know of one guy who has broken off a leg and grown a new one...SHOW ME THE MAN!!!"
                        I simply couldnt.

I am just going to leave it this--you have your opinion based on 6 weeks while taking creatine. I have mine based on 10 years of working out while taking a variety of supplements.

                        Good luck in your training.
