Re: Minor Leaguer On The Move

I was pretty excited for Mauer to come up but now that he's already in the big leagues I'm looking forward to (1B/DH) Justin Morneau to be called up for good. He spent some time up with the Twins last year and was also up last week for a few days but got sent back down.

As for pitchers I'm really looking forward to Jesse Crain and JD Durbin being called up. Crain could possibly be called up sometime this year in September or if there is an injury in the bullpen. He's supposed to be the Twins' closer of the future and throws like 95-96 and has a pretty decent breaking ball. Durbin will likely be in the rotation next year and is currently in AA so he can develop a change to go with his breaking ball and fastball that he throws at around 92 to 93.

He went to Rancho Bernardo High School. I saw the guy pitch in high school and he throws gas. Great pickup by the Phillies. His arm injuries are in the past.
