    Re: Yankees after Beltran

Last night on SportsCenter Harold Reynolds said that Beltran would end up with the White Soxs.

As a Soxs fan I'd welcome the trade in a heartbeat. Even though we need a starter more than we need a bat. But you can't pass on a player like Beltran.

Then again, before the season started, Reynolds was the same guy who predicated that the White Soxs would finish 4th in the division, behind the Twins, Royals AND INDIANS!?
So whatever he says I take with a grain of salt.
I have more respect for a man who let's me know where he stands, even if he's wrong. Than the one who comes up like an angel and is nothing but a devil. - Malcolm X

You kidding me? That is alot to give away for a rent a player.

Here is what I see happening.

Sox trade for Freddie Garcia and get rid of Borchard and Rauch, and probably Rowand. However, that will change if they are going for Gaurdado, too.

Sox trade Reed, Cotts and possibly Diaz for Beltran. Sox have the best prospects to offer KC than any other team.
