I've had it with this freaking team. It's the same **** every season. Last in hitting every single year since 2009 when that idiot Jack Z took over. I honestly don't know who's worse him or Bill Bavasi. If we go down 1-0 or 2-0 in the 3rd I feel as if the game is over. Just an absolute joke. But I guess that's What happens when your team has 2 straight brain dead GM's.

I'm rooting for us to lose the rest of the year. That's the only way to ensure our idiot GM is fired sooner rather than later.Green Bay PackersSeattle MarinersNew York Rangers

So at what point do we start acknowledging the Rays? They have really surprised me with their play so far..."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

The worst announcers in all of baseball used to be the Chi-Sox but Steve Stone is doing for Hawk what he did for years for Harry Caray, add a dose of realism and reign in some of the crazy homerism. The Nationals broadcasters are not only homers of the highest degree but they also think everything the Nats do is the greatest thing on God's green earth. I swear if a Nats player were to take a dump in the middle of the field FP Santangelo would wax poetic about the form and substance of said excrement and call it the sweetest turd he's ever had the pleasure of smelling.
Buck and Pat may have their faults for the Blue Jays but they're pretty unbiased IMO. They give credit where it's due.Comment

Here's hoping the Jays can continue to climb up the mountain to the .500 mark but it's a tall order with a weekend series against the 'Stros. Hopefully they don't get swept again.
BTW there are rumors floating around that the Jays should trade Bautista to the Mets (the Mets are said to be looking at him, among others at 3B what with Wright's uncertain future) for pitching help.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: 6/1 - 6/14 Game Discussion Thread
I feel like if AA is thinking long term rather than "win now, no matter what" he will have to make a trade like that because the Jays can't afford to keep both Bautista and Encarnacion. One of the two will have to be dealt if they want to get anything in return. I feel like Bautista makes the most sense because he's older and he's going to command more dollars than Encarnacion.
The Mets are a very good fit as the Jays can go after bullpen arms and maybe a starter as that team is loaded to the gills with pitching. It's certainly something to think about and I wouldn't dismiss it out of hand.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

The AL East ain't that good to trade the best player away...at least from what I see.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
