Shelby Miller knows how Grienke feels...pitches like a stud night in and night out with nothing to show for it. Sickening...

Justin Turner starts; the Dodgers manage to score over a non-embarrassing level.

      What a coincidence.

Miller has 10 runs of support in his last 7 starts while posting a near 2.5 era in those 7 starts for an 0-2 record that might be 0-3 after tonight. Braves offense died when freeman got injured. This is frustrating to watch. No reason they should be shutout tonight. Zimmerman has not pitched well enough to have a shutout.

        This team... ugh.

The Cubs broadcasters mentioned something about chronic knee issues which keep Turner from starting every game. It's the first I had heard about it.

This is what happens when you don't hit HR's...it's hard to string together 3-4 singles in a row to get a run or two.

Everything they hit hard is right at somebody or dies at the wall. It's one of those series. An irritating time to have it when you could have put yourself in 1st. With the pitching they've got in this series, you shouldn't be down 2 games to none. 4 runs given up in 2 games and 0 wins. But when they scored 8 in 3 games straight they lost all 3.

Shelby Miller's start tonight is his 10th this year that he won't win. In those losses/NDs, he has a 2.31 ERA.
                Frustrating.

Come on Andy Simmons...pick up Joey T. That was a brutal base running gaffe...just terrible.

Joey Terdoslavich with one of the dumbest baserunning errors I've ever seen, changing a 1st/3rd w/ 1 out situation into a man on 3rd/2 out situation. Frustrating.

Terdoslavich... what in the world. He may have just cost the Braves this game.

That blunder by Terdoslavich was so bush league...going to cost us the game. How does a big leaguer botch that play?

Found out today at work that I was chosen at random with 12 others (out of about 300) to get to go down on the field at PNC before the game Sunday.

Awful challenge by Mattingly. No idea what his guys saw on that.

So Jason Heyward is suddenly hot for the Cardinals...I think he's hit 3 HR's this week.
