If I was a member on this site when Zito, Mulder and Holliday were traded I probably would have been banned.
Zito left through FA not a trade. Also he got screwed on that Holliday trade. He got Clayton Mortensen, Brett Wallace and Shane Peterson. When he gave up Carlos Gonzalez, Houston Street and another prospect for Holliday. Mulder was alright because they got Dan Haren back in return.

I'm thinking Kehlis probably meant Hudson. That was a horrible trade too. What made the Holliday sequence so bad was that he was abysmal in Oakland.

Wow...Brandon Crawford hit his 19th homer tonight. That's incredible for anyone these days, let alone a SS, and he's done it so quietly.

Adam Loewen will be called up by the Phillies tomorrow. He is now back to being a pitcher. He last appeared in the majors back in 2011 as an Outfielder for the Blue Jays.

It started sprinkling just now during the A's game and the crowd actually let off a little cheer.

Applauding rain during a baseball game. 1st time I've seen that.

Especially considering he's a lefty and plays half his games in San Francisco. He made the All-Star team and is still underrated it seems.

He has a higher ISO than Miguel Cabrera.

That whole infield has been raking: Crawford, Panik, Duffy, Belt and Posey.

The Cubs offense has disappeared since Schwarber's HR in the 2nd. SF has clawed back in the game.. it would be great to get a couple here in the late innings for some breathing room.

So...Jays swept Twins, now just 0.5GB of Angels for 1st WC, have 1.5 game lead over the O's! And Kevin Pillar did this:

Now onto NY to face Yankees! First of....13 games
                    Spoiler
to close out year between these two teams

The two best offenses in baseball going head to head, but both teams with pitchers who aren't likely to allow a blowout game, so who knows what'll happen! Dickey vs Yankees tomorrow and Price vs them on Saturday!

I'm not used to this kind of tension watching a Cubs game. I'm not sure I can handle 2 more months of this.

                        Braves scored 9 runs?

Rondon was filthy tonight. Throwing Greg Maddux-esque 2 seamers at 99 mph.

I believe Estrada is pitching on Sunday as well.

That's three starting pitchers that have been remarkably consistent all year long.

Just mentioned Price/Dickey since those are the 2 most notable guys. Facing 2 CY Young winners on back to back nights in the same series! I think it's the first time ever 2 cy young winners of same year(in this case,2012) are on same roster at any point in their careers?

And Yankees can't hit Dickey. He has 1.12ERA against Yankees in his past 6 games(40IP)! Most runs he's given up in a single game during that span...2!

Friday I see Jays taking it. Sunday I see Yankees taking it. Saturday...who knows. Price has struggled past 2 years vs them, but so has Nova(Yankees saturday starter) vs Jays.
