He's such a streaky hitter and he's 30 years old.

      Bad decision to me.

Worked out for Scherzer in 2014 but it doesn't always mean more money.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Even if he reverts back to his pre-2015 production, he'll be worth $18 million a year, but you'd assume his numbers would improve in Camden Yards considering he's spent nearly his whole career in pitchers parks.

Jon Heyman is disputing the Mets offer. Saying that they haven't made a formal offer, but do remain interested in pacts of one to three years if he is willing to come off his demands for a long term deal.

Jays avoid arbitration with almost every arbitration eligible player they got. Jesse Chavez and Josh Donaldson are the 2 remaining guys to be signed. Chavez filed for almost 1M less than his projected arbitration value. Donaldson also filed for less than his 12M arbitration projection.

Jays and Donaldson are just 450k apart, so should expect to hear deal being reached shortly.

Could also be the start of some more moves for the Jays. Best case scenario for them is avoiding arbitration completely, and spending 2M less than projected.

Very interesting that the Angels aren't moving on any of these bats.

After losing out on Jason Heyward they seem to be content with Daniel Nava and Craig Gentry platoon in LF.

Isn't it pretty much accepted that they're going to trade for one of Colorado's surplus outfielders? LAA needs a lefty bat--CarGo would be perfect. Need to clear some $$$ first it seems...oh, Arte...

How are they going to get him? They have no guys with value in their farm system and I can't see them trading a guy like Schumacher for an oft injured Cargo.

Exactly, their farm system is depleted.

I'm hearing that the Tigers are the main team talking to Colorado about their OF depth. As others have said though LAA has nothing much of value in the farm system to give up unless Colorado is doing a straight up salary dump.

The Mets don't want to pay a lot of money for anyone at this point. If they could replicate last year ad infinitum they would sign for that in a minute. His performance in the playoffs was manna from heaven for the brass. I don't think they wanted to lose the WS but I don't think it bothered them too much to see Cespedes fail in crunch time. Not too many fans are clamoring for his return.

Meh, not crazy about Carlos Gonzalez. Too much risk for a lineup that needs a "sure thing."

I can see why the Tigers like CarGo and others, but I don't know if we have the prospects to get any of them. If Cespedes' best offer is really 90/5, I think the Tigers could beat that.
