So you know absolutely nothing about Chavez then.

I envision Estrada as a 4/5 starter or out of the rotation by the end of next year.

Yeah, Estrada as a #2 is not really going to happen, lol. He's not very good despite outperforming his peripherals for parts of last season.

He also thinks that Liam Hendriks wasn't the best or second best reliever for the Blue Jays which is an egregious statement. Getting on my nerves. Just an objectively awful analysis of the deal.

You're an A's fan right Kehlis? You'll love Hendriks. Had a massive velo bump and is just lights out. Culminated in that awesome playoff performance.

I wish I could get excited about the Chavez deal as a Jays fan but I can't. He was so much better pitching at home than away and pitched very poorly in the second half (5.59 ERA with a 1.580 WHIP.)

Lmao @ Kehlis destroying that guy. He used to have a Blue Jays avi and then he changed it when they were eliminated. Some fan.

Let's see what Shelby Miller will bring back. Same thing applies to him. The Braves will get two or three pointless prospects, nowhere near Russell or Schwarber.

Yea, I think it's a decent trade for both sides. I'll miss having the versatility of Chavez for sure though. The guy never had a role with the A's. I'd love to see him have a full time role in the Jays rotation.

Would be interesting to see what they get back.

                          I'd love a Frazier/Chapman blockbuster trade there.

Nice to see Magingir get destroyed for being annoyingly clueless.

Anywho, yes Hendriks will be a solid addition to the A's pen and Chavez will be a good piece for us starting out as the #5 but if it doesn't work out he will definitely fulfill the swing man role and spend some time in the pen. It's good that the Jays are giving him a defined role to start as he's never really had a definitive role with the A's.

BTW I've heard Ken Giles' name connected with the Astros as one closer they're after.

This I don't agree with. It's perfectly OK to change your avi to another of your favorite teams once a season ends.
