What a special young player. Oh man baseball is fun.

Jon Lester has allowed no hits through 6. And I'm fairly certain I'm not jinxing anything because his pitch count is 90 and there's no way Maddon will let him finish.

Game is scoreless btw - Cole is pitching well too.

Pitch 101 is lined into right for the Bucs first hit.

And Kang lines one to the gap to give the Pirates the lead.

He needs to add some pop. I would gladly take his avg. dipping to around .280 if it meant he was going to hit 20-25 ding dongs a year.

Meh. Like I said, wasn't going to happen anyway (at least for Lester individually) - pitch count was way too high. Matter of time until he either got tagged or Maddon was forced to take him out.

                      Nice game for Kang.

Braves' starters have really been pitching so well...our garbage offense just can't support them. Also, Jeff Francouer used to be a plus defender in RF...all he has now is his arm. Guy looks like he's running in mud out there.

Mallex Smith is maddening...guy has lots of talent and is going to be good, but he has run into more outs than the rest of the team combined this year.

I know we came into the day tied with Minnesota as the worst team in baseball, but we should automatically win that award for having Reid Brignac on our roster. Guy is worthless space...

Close one. Zobrist grounds right into the shift to end the ballgame. Would've been a clean single with Heyward scoring if it wasn't on.

Braves and Royals are going to the 12th. The Braves are trying to get their 2nd series win of the year.(Swept the Marlins, Split against the Cubs, have lost all others)

                                Heading to the 13th now.
