If Marco Estrada can no hit this Red Sox team, I will call it one of the best pitching performances ever.

Only 82 pitches through 6 in Estrada's no hitter, 0 hits allowed, couldn't tell you the last time the Sox were no hit.

This is the third time in his career that Estrada has carried a no hitter into the 6th inning.

98 pitches through 7 for Estrada. Good catch by Joey Bats in right.

If Marco does this, this will be even more impressive than Dave Stieb's no-no.

Watson just isn't himself this year for the Pirates. Gives up a two run shot to Pujlos.

At least the comeback wasn't completed.

Man, that was way too close for comfort but it's all good as that's 5 straight series won by the Jays.

What strange times are these when tuning in to see Dodgers and Cubs games and seeing bullpens in action in the 6th/7th innings. In Kershaw and Arrieta's starts. Strange times indeed.

I also noticed that Kershaw walked his 6th batter of the season. Might want to get a precautionary MRI.

Of course...the offense gives Wisler some runs and he decides to not be on his game today. That's how it works for bad teams I guess...

Had Estrada finished the job, it would've been the first no-hitter against the Sox at Fenway since Jim Bunning in 1958.

The Astros complete a big 3-game sweep of a previously-hot Oakland club. Houston has won 11 of 13 and have climbed within 2 games of .500.

However, they play 4 in Arlington starting tomorrow and they haven't beaten the Rangers in forever. They need to figure out how to win in Arlington, if they want to really get back in the race.

                            Go Astros!

Poof. There goes Arrieta's decision winning streak. First loss since July of last season (25 starts ago). He didn't really deserve to lose, but the D'Backs were just pesky enough to make him exit after 5 IP with an elevated pitch count. Cubs' bullpen was fantastic. Corbin was pretty good also.
