Meanwhile we've got players throwing at each other in Toronto, at a time like this. Embarrassing.

Agreed. Something extremely redeeming about seeing both Dee Gordon and Barry Bonds embracing at the top of the dugout in this moment. Both have had the stench of being a cheater or even a bad person, and then you see immediately how it can never be so one-dimensional.

I actually had that same thought...it's great to see Bonds back in the game, but to see that was really humanizing.

That bothered me too, should be a time for unity around baseball.

Cubs taking Pittsburgh to the woodshed in search for that triple digit win. Javy Baez with a granny and KB17 just left the building. Bryant finally tops 100 RBI after being stuck on 99 for a while down the stretch last season.

This Marlins mound ceremony for Fernandez is giving me serious waterworks.

I just saw the extended highlight of it, man I don't know how those guys played a game tonight. I was a mess just watching it.

Sucks to see Jays blow a lead like that. Happ pitched great game, they're leading 3-2 in the 9th, 2 outs to go, and then by a crazy turn of events, lose the game 7-5.

As for that fight...everyone hates the Jays lol. They got heat with O's,Royals,Rangers. And now, after tonight, Yankees....you're on the list!

That fight though, Severino got ejected for the hit batter, I think 1-2 Yankees managers got ejected too(Girardi got ejected earlier on in the game already) and Benoit got injured somewhere in that mob. I think he might have been the one who got trampled on by like half the team.

(this video doesn't reflect everything that happened in it. Benches were cleared for like 5 minutes. The moment Severino hit Smoak, Severino was prepping for a fight and was so close to just charging with some punches at him even before Smoak came at him)

Unreal to see St. Louis choking down the stretch like this. Losing 15-2 at home to the Reds when fighting for a playoff spot? Heck, they haven't even clinched a winning record and the playoffs start a week from tomorrow. Lucky for the Cards that the Giants and Mets don't want the spot either.

Jays get into fight(s), lose important game and now Benoit has similar injury as Cecil did last year and Travis is so injured with his shoulder that he can't even swing a bat.

Yep, things sure are looking up for the Blue Jays

Really amazing to see guys like Stanton and Prado lead so strongly through this catastrophe. I obviously know Prado's been known for such strong leadership over the years but it was really, really impressive of Stanton tonight. Made me proud. Dude is incredible.
