It's a bit of hyperbole no doubt about it but I was going off of how the Indians broadcasters were riffing on the fans in the bottom of the 9th last night.

Onto the Twins, if it wasn't for this historical win streak for the Indians i'd say Paul Molitor would be the Manager of the Year. You have to remember this Twins team were thought to be rebuilding again then they played so well that they made a couple deals before the deadline. They went on a bit of a bad streak, sold off their big acquisition for the stretch run and were going to play the string out but lo and behold they have the most HRs since August 1st and I believe the 3rd best record in that time as well.

KB ties it in the 4th with a longball to the opposite field.

        Damnit!

Rizzo beaned and Contreras with single.

        Come on Martinez settle down

Kinda surprised Contreras wasn't the one getting hit after that CS of Pham. He looked in the Cards dugout and shook his his head "nuh uh uh" after that. This series already has an edge some of the ones earlier in the season didn't.

Rizzo gunned down at home by Pham on Jay's hit. Martinez suddenly not fooling anyone, but the game is still tied for now.

Ump just flat out missed one and Lackey is furious. Amazing that he didn't get tossed.

Martinez singles home the go ahead run on the next pitch and BOTH Lackey and Contrares are tossed.

I don't like Lackey but DAMN, that's pretty bad. I'm sure this ump needs some glasses LOL

As a Cardinals fan I like the call.

As a fan of baseball that's atrocious

Cubs tie it again on an Avila RBI, but should have taken the lead if not for some botched baserunning by Bryant before scoring.

And now Jay breaks his bat for a single to center and the Cubs lead anyway. This game.

                        Wow!

Twice this inning the ball hits Martinez's glove and he can't make the play.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Not to mention the Blue misses another call that was almost as bad as the one on Lackey. Main difference is that it would have only been strike 1 and the count never ended up getting deep.

I can't even at this point.

Now the floodgates have opened up, 6-2 Cubs.

I go to a meeting get out and the Cubs had blown the game open.

4 games back. Gotta win the next two
