Can we be done batting the pitcher 8th?

5 runners in scoring position when the 8th spot in the lineup came up in the first 6 innings. Each time with 2 outs.

And while we're on the subject of Cubs players with too few homers...Addison Russell has yet to tater this season. I'm a lot more worried about him than I am about Rizzo. Addy has yet to post a league average offensive season by wRC+. Luckily he's one of the top 5 or so defensive shortstops in the game.

Addison has been brutal offensively this year. Maybe he can have the same revelation that Simmons and Gregorious have had some point soon.

Great win for the Bravos...9th inning made me want to throw things. Not a perfect game by any stretch, but a win is a win. Mike Soroka was everything I've seen in the minors. No reason he should ever go back down.

Does any "good" reliever get roughed up as often as Ken Giles? He has come in and completely ruined a great Yankees/Astros game.

The Astros suck. Verlander strikes out 14 and the dip**** closer gives up a three run homer in the ninth. A.J Hinch is a complete idiot for putting him in time and time again. Disgrace.
