Umpire forgetting to call the baserunner safe or out, come on, players aren't clairvoyant.

Who is this guy impersonating Jason Heyward? He's squaring everything up!

2018 has already been Heyward's best season as a Cub considering his WAR. He's a different guy right now...the ball's finally jumping off the bat like it should for a 6'5" 240-lb tank.

Yup...this is such a Wrigley Field wind out game. As for Heyward, he's been squaring it up for about a month now. Love to see it...

This 14-9 lead feels like a 2-1 lead the way this game has been going.

Meh...why did they have to show that highlight (Cubs score 9 in 8th to beat Braves)? I had erased that from my memory...

His slash line is right in line what the cubs thought they were getting. It's very similar to his last year with the Cardinals and those Braves seasons. It seems like he's hitting everything hard right now.

Speaking of turnarounds...interesting splits for Matt Carpenter:

                          Before 5/16: .140/.286/.272
                          After 5/16: .348/.426/.690

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

                            Another 4-hit game for Heyward.

His body language is so much better, too. I remember so many ABs where it looked like Heyward was in a shell just praying the pitcher would walk him. Now, he's jumping out of his shoes to bash the baseball. Love it.

So the 2nd place team in the AL Central is 9 games under .500. This rivals the 2005 NL West when the Padres won the division at 82-80.

Except the Indians are no 2005 Padres.
