Tigers have jumped on Davies in the first for at least two. Still batting with only 1 out. 4 hits given up.

Edit: McCann drives in another, 5 hits in the first inning.

Brewers answer quickly. Yelich 2 run homer makes it 3-2. Wasn't gonna be that easy!

Braun solo shot and it's like the first inning never happened.

Last tiny hopes of the WC game being in Oakland is being dashed at the moment so I just bought ALDS tickets instead. Can't wait to use them.

Losing tonight will ensure a losing record for Philly. I think most reasonable baseball fans saw them as not being a 20-games-over-.500 type of team even when they were in 1st place. But, they have fallen super hard. Like tripped and plowed their face into the dirt kind of hard.

By the end of the night, the Rockies could conceivably be leading the NL West by 2 games with 2 games to play. Despite the Dodgers having +130 in run differential on them.

Khris Davis' batting average has been chronicled here before but here's the recap.

Currently he's at .249 for this season. If he plays the last three games and goes 1 for 4 in each he'll achieve .247 again.
