I think a Kodai Senga signing should be coming shortly. Mets, Padres, Red Sox were teams seriously interested. Did I miss any other?

Wake up everyone, the Angels have acquired Hunter Renfroe.

Judge reportedly turned down $214MM offer from Dodgers. Length wasn't disclosed, or I missed it in article.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Going MLB The Show route I see.

Yankees offered 7 years 213.5m during the year and he rejected.

Dodgers offering 214m, I'd laugh if it was also 7 years.

It does look more unlikely the Angels will put Ohtani up during the early season. Whether you like their new addition or not, they've been busy and added Anderson, Urshela, and now Renfroe hoping he sees they're trying. They should be on every pitcher.

Multiple sources reported 5 or 6 year offer. So that'd make the AAV $43M and $36M respectively.

So where do the Yankees go from here if he signs elsewhere, trade for a big bat?

This was a really interesting thought experiment actually. First they clearly have to bring in Correa ideally or Turner at worst if they lose Judge. After that I went through some of the usual suspects, TB, CLE, A's...etc who are willing to let go of players coming towards the end of their contracts soon and I honestly didn't find much.

Bader can at least hold down CF, so it doesn't need to be a CF, but the best 24 Free Agent as of right now would be Machado and I don't see the Padres letting him go, especially to the Yankees. Maybe you kick the tires on Tatis? Kelenic is rumored to be available in Seattle. Make a run at Votto possibly?

I don't see them with the ability to pull off a Freeman to Olsen transition similar to how the Braves did last season. It has to be a SS they already need + 1. Votto would make the some sense I guess, but man, everyone else that came to mind is in places like Boston and Toronto I don't see dealing with the Yankees.

Almost feels like they'd have to bring in Correa and Bellinger then still swing a trade for an expiring or 1 year left guy.

Jays seem to be leaning towards dealing Jansen more than their other Cs.

I thought he'd be the one they keep simply because Moreno hasn't been a mainstay in the bigs yet, and Kirk hasn't been a catcher full time.

If they deal Jansen, I just see them getting back a bottom of the rotation starter.

Sounds like he only wants a 1 year (bet on yourself) deal.

Toronto would be one of the better options for him if that's the case.

A hitters ballpark while also having recent proof with a guy like Semien as to how a single big year in Toronto turns into a big time payday.
