I’d imagine Carrasco gets dealt soon too, the Correa signing will put their 40 man roster at 41

I was thinking Escobar might be on the move as well.

Reds with some small moves today, which frankly, I like.

Wil Myers is on a one-year deal with a mutual option for 2024.
Bring back Curt Casali on a one-year deal with a mutual option for 2024.

My favorite...DFA Mike Moustakas. God, we got burned hard on that signing, and I was a big fan of it. He was coming off an All-Star campaign and he was still in his prime.

He was decent the Covid year, which I chalked up to being the Covid year. But then injuries just completely derailed him. After hitting 35 homers for the Brewers in 2019, he hit 21 for the Reds from 2020-2022.

Trevor Bauer suspension reduced to 194 games and has been reinstated due to he has already served that time.

Curious to see if this ends like Ray Rice and he's done or if somebody is going to try to bring him in mid season. I can't imagine there's any way a team is willing to take the PR hit of having him on their opening day.

Frankly, he shouldn’t have been suspended. Woman’s story fell apart under legal scrutiny.

I’d sign him in a heartbeat.

Isn’t he signed with the dodgers?

He has one year left. Dodgers have till first week of January to decide to put him on the 40-man roster or release him.

While I do think it was a attempted cash grab by the woman I wouldn’t want him on my team. Just way too much baggage and negative press to deal with in my opinion.

My guess is they'll release him....I don't know how true it is but I heard rumors he wasn't all that popular in the clubhouse (which wouldn't be that surprising)

Would be funny if he too ended up on the Mets.

Not surprised by the arbiter's decision.

0% chance the Dodgers don't release him or at best trade him. Apparently Dodger's "limited" offseason has been in anticipation of the arbiter's ruling.

Let's see if any team gives him a chance.

The #SFGiants land free agent outfielder Michael Conforto to 2-year, $36 million contract as the last marquee free agent on the board.

So the Giants declined Correa's physical from an ankle injury in 2017 but instead give a 2 yr contract for $18M per year to Conforto who damaged his shoulder and hasn't played in a year?

I'm not even sure why you make this move if you're the Giants at this point. He's basically an $18M Rental (opt out after this season) for a guy that was a negative WAR outfielder to begin with and is coming off of shoulder surgery and a missed year. I guess they're hoping to flip him at the deadline for some more prospects, but at this point, why?
