His past two seasons he had over 500 AB each. I wonder if this is something he done in the offseason.

Longer and larger contracts typically end up getting more scrutinized physicals than short term deals. This ankle is the same reason Correa wasn't getting long-term offers last off-season according to multiple sources.

I'm still trying to figure out why the Giants and then the Mets are both baulking at this leg thing, but the team who he played all last season for and had more medical records on him than anybody offered him 10 for $285M.

              Like really?

I'm assuming the Mets are baulking from a position of strength as opposed to the Giants. Still doesn't make a lot of since considering nobody knows his medicals better than the Twins.

Like he legit his as higher AAV contract on the table, he just wants to play in the spotlight.

The Twins front office said they were comfortable making the offer, but admitted the physical would've been much more rigorous than previous ones given the length and guaranteed money. There were already concerns in the Twins camp last off-season when they were going to offer Correa a long term deal then.

I never thought about it that way. I guess if I was going to unearth $300m on a player not only would the physical be thorough, I would include a prostrate exam.

Eovaldi to the Rangers 2 yrs $34m
I guess with the Correa debacle I probably need to add in pending physical

Red Sox and Corey Kluber agree to one year $10M contract.

Ryu targeting a return around the all star break after having TJ surgery last summer.

He's in the final year of his contract already, I'm sure he wants to get back to show some other team he's worth a new deal.
