The Tigers have agreed to a 6 year $28.6 million deal with prospect Colt Keith. There are also club options for $10, $13, and $15 million. I know its a lot of money for a kid who has never played a game in the majors but that is a horrible contract from the player’s perspective

It could be, but it's much more likely that the kid turns into an average player and he just secured himself life changing money.

So they got their DH at least.

Still waiting to see if they get Chapman back or some other 3B.

Jays among others were interested, but if the asking price is too high I'm sure teams aren't wasting their time offering when the ask is much higher.

If we start seeing a trend of guys signing during ST, I wonder if the league would implement a rule where any player signed after ST begins (and its not a ST invite) aren't allowed to participate in Spring Training.

Turner signed for 13m.

Sounds like Soler might have done 3 years 15m and JD 1 year 20m.

Between those 3 numbers, which sounds the best?

I want to say Turner's is the best of the 3.

Especially since for 20m you're getting JD or Turner + another roster player.

I heard the Cubs are hesitant on Belli because they believe a lot in Pete Crow-Armstrong. I hope they realize there are 3 outfield positions, LOL.

One year of Burnes, who Milwaukee ain't resigning, for what projects, key word, as a major league 2B starter and, stuff wise, what may be the next great Brewers reliever plus a pick. Ehhh.
