        Possibly a chance that the market picks up today (at least for some minor moves) as today teams can place players on the 60-Day IL to open up 40-man spots

                                                2 yr deal, looks like no comeback in 2024, not sure about playoffs.

                                                He likes Milwaukee and Milwaukee likes him.

                                                            That ship went down ten years ago. I don't think it would be as easy as Trout thinks it is to find another sucker willing to pick up the tab on his contract. At this point the Angels are paying Trout for what he's already done, not for what his potential is going forward. There's nothing wrong with a trade especially if it benefits the player AND the team. Look at the wild success the Giants had once Barry Bonds was gone. I guess Trout thinks Shohei took the easy way out. I think Shohei took the smart way out. I don't know if Shohei will win a championship in LA but I know he has a real chance now that he moved just 30 miles down the road.
