As soon as Hamels exited the game, I knew it was over. This team is a joke. They should've had 10 runs going into the 8th. Bases loaded, nobody out, 1 run. Bases loaded, nobody out, zero runs. 2nd and 3rd, 1 out, zero runs. Way to manufacture runs!

And it's not just today. They've done it consistently through the first 7 games.

they did look like the Keystone Cops out there at times (Howard/Nunez mixup, Rollins error).. Hamels had some nasty stuff out there, but Geary was just what "the boys" needed. Nice job with the comeback win, Mets!!

they did look like the Keystone Cops out there at times (Howard/Nunez mixup, Rollins error).. Hamels had some nasty stuff out there, but Geary was just what "the boys" needed. Nice job with the comeback win, Mets!!

I wish I didn't hate the Mets so much, because they are a likeable team. And I'm already a big Reyes fan.

The Mets are why if you are trying to contend and you azz clown your way through an offseason and not get a bullpen AND legit players at all the positions, you will get humiliated like the Phils did today.

After Burrell (ew), it's basically easy outs 'til you get back to J-Roll. You can't tell me there weren't any 3rd basemen out there to get that aren't better than Abraham Nunez and Wes Helms.

And the bullpen...well...you know....

Crap. I was watching it in my office, and it was 5-4 when I left to pick up my son at school... I come home, and I see we pulled it out 11-5... LOL

Can't say I'm too surprised, though; we've had a history of crazy home openers. Good thing I can watch the archive on MLB.tv and see what I missed.

Just finished watching it now... Absolutely wonderful... If Wright's shot would have gone out, Shea would have exploded... I've gotta say, I'm gonna miss the dump when it's gone.
