We just won't go away. Just when it starts to look like we're out of the divison race, we put together a series like the one we had in LA. We better take care of business against the Nationals before worrying about the Phillies though. The Nats are hot all of a sudden and they have given us trouble this year anyway.

The Braves have been doing this too much this year. They have gotten to 3-4 games back and then let it slip back to 6-7. I'm not getting my hopes up until they hold it here or improve it.

I hate it, but the Braves are simply a .500 team. We've seen this all year, they go on a little hot streak and gain ground in the playoff races then they're cold again and fall back to .500.

There just isn't enough offense on this team right now to get some real consistent play. What really sucks is one really good player could put us over the top, but there isn't anywhere to get that guy. Hopefully Heyward and Freeman make it to the show soon and perform well.

I hate it, but the Braves are simply a .500 team. We've seen this all year, they go on a little hot streak and gain ground in the playoff races then they're cold again and fall back to .500.

There just isn't enough offense on this team right now to get some real consistent play. What really sucks is one really good player could put us over the top, but there isn't anywhere to get that guy. Hopefully Heyward and Freeman make it to the show soon and perform well.

I disagree. Since the trades were made and Chipper/McCann have been healthy this team has one of the top records (24-14). We have been playing well now for over a month. This team, barring injuries, will be in the playoff hunt to the end.

I disagree. Since the trades were made and Chipper/McCann have been healthy this team has one of the top records (24-14). We have been playing well now for over a month. This team, barring injuries, will be in the playoff hunt to the end.

I'm with you Sportsforever. This team is really solid, when healthy, and getting Infante's bat back in the mix is almost like getting a boost from a trade considering, he missed 70+ games with his injury. If we can get a healthy Hudson coming out of the bullpen, this team has the potential to be dangerous.

This team is really solid, when healthy, and getting Infante's bat back in the mix is almost like getting a boost from a trade considering, he missed 70+ games with his injury. If we can get a healthy Hudson coming out of the bullpen, this team has the potential to be dangerous.

Yep, any team that has the pitching that we have is definitely a team to look out for. Now that we are hitting for power I don't have any complaints about the offense either.

That is a reassuring stat, but I think that not having either a big bat or someone with game changing speed will cost us in the end.

What a surprise...Soriano blew the game last night. He is garbage at this point because he keeps leaving everything up in the zone. Im telling you guys the bullpen is going to cost us a playoff spot in the end. Their just going to get lit up for the rest of the season because everyone is so damn fatigued. I know Hudson is coming back soon but we can't expect him to be his old dominant self right away.
