With his fastball and slider, I think he could be a ridiculous starter if he threw the change up and added a 2-seamer.#WeAreUKComment

At this point, what are the chances Frazier gets ROY and Cueto for CY Young? Both are deservedly in the conversation for both and nearly declared front runners at this point (still behind but emerging). If Cueto gets 20 wins and has under a 2.50 era, wouldn't he have to be highly considered? What about Frazier? He is near or at the top of nearly all offensive categories for rookies.
It will be interesting to see how it goes for them the rest of the year.#WeAreUKComment

As of now, the only other people other than Frazier that should be considered are Wade Miley & Aoki for Milwaukee.
Cueto is interesting, I think he is in the top 5 for Cy Young, but who knows, it depends on how the season plays out. Cueto has the #1 WAR for pitchers according to ESPN in the National League, plus being tied for the lead in wins (which really doesn't matter). He isn't a big strikeout pitcher though which might hurt him.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Re: "This one belongs to Reds fans" Official 2012 Cincinnati Reds
I'd be surprised if he was called up prior to 9/1. Although if they think he can be a weapon in the playoffs then it would have to be before that. He'd be a liability in the playoffs if he had to start and couldn't hit major league pitching. One thing I noticed about his current stats that is encouraging is the fact that he has dropped his strikeout-to-walk ratio from about 2.5:1 in 2011 to 1.3:1 in 2012. At Pensacola, he's sitting at nearly 1:1. His plate discipline is improving. If I were the Reds and were seriously considering adding him prior to 9/1 so he can be on the team for the playoffs, I'd send him to Louisville right now so they can see if he can hit the pitching at that level.MLB: Cincinnati Reds

I would be disappointed if they didn't give him a chance late in September to get a look at the majors because they'd be effectively eliminating a possible huge weapon for late in games and he would provide rest for other players.Comment

Re: "This one belongs to Reds fans" Official 2012 Cincinnati Reds
Also here is an interesting point made by Lance Mcalister:
Who gets the call Saturday?
The Reds streak of using the same 5 starting pitchers will end on Saturday when they play a double header vs the Cubs. A new rule in the CBA allows teams to call-up a 26th player for double headers scheduled at least two days after the original game was rained out. I would think that Todd Redmond gets the call. He is due to pitch Friday for Louisville
I honestly got to thinking they'd go wire to wire with the same staff all season, barring injury of course.Comment
