Have I mentioned how much I love this team? They haven't even reached their full potential yet, especially offensively.

To say the least, hope we can keep improving.

Beachy back this week. What happens?

Hudson deserves to be out, but won't happen. Beachy to pen makes a lot of sense too.

I love this team but I hate this team.

          It's weird.

I do love the chemistry we seem to have though. Team's struggled at times but they've chugged along, nary a complaint. Seem supportive of each other, etc. That's a real good sign.

On the road, his numbers at home are good

Another bad road trip, this one against sub-500 teams. The Braves need to figure something out for those road games.

Getting swept by San Diego might be one of the most frustrating things that will happen all season.

It's not like San Diego is a terrible team. They're 32-34, 19-14 at home, and it was the tail end of a 7 game west coast trip. I don't think getting swept is a big deal at all at this point.

And I'd like to see the team do better on the road, but 18-20 isn't all that bad. And the rest of the Division hasn't been good on the road either. The Braves still have the biggest division lead in the game, and that's with half their players off to really slow starts.

At this point in the season, its not a slow start any more. The season is close to half over, that means you are having a bad year and sucking. A slow start is getting it going in May, June is a major slump.

BJ looked great today with 2 HRs. Great come back win today where in the 9th, they just got on base, instead of trying to hit the HR every swing.

The Giants are showing what you need to do at the plate though. They just get hits, specially with 2 strikes and 2 outs. They don't worry about hitting a HR like the Braves SO hitters, they just put it in play for 1B and 2Bs. I wish the Braves would try to do the same thing.

You're arguing semantics. And I think you could say most are getting it going here in June. Uggla has an .854 OPS this month. B.J. Upton is at .794. Heyward is at .957 this month.

I was disgusted most of this week with their play, but the 9th inning yesterday was amazing. Upton's walk was huge, and Heyward is finally looking like the Heyward we all know and love. I'm still not sold on BJ being hot, but his mammo yesterday made a believer in his ability.

I picked the wrong game to go to this weekend.

Oh well, I'll take two out of three.

We really nailed this team in the pre-season...when they aren't hitting they are frustrating to watch. Julio pitched well enough to win tonight, but just no hard hit balls at all. If we get to the playoffs we better hope the team is hitting or it's going to be a short appearance!

Yep, but by the same token, if they are hot like they can be going into October, then I don't think anyone has a chance of beating them. It's a gamble. But I think you should strive for Championships, and if this team gets going, they have a very real chance for one.

What's really funny, is they probably should have an even bigger division lead. Their "expected" W-L is 45-30, and the Nats "should" be at 33-40.

Season is gonna get tougher down the stretch however. The Braves have only played 3 games against an NL division leader. And they're only 7-9 against teams that would be playoff teams if the season ended today.

I love this team, but the entire month of June has been nothing but inconsistency. It is really frustrating to watch every night. Hopefully, Justin can get hot again and Gattis comes back swinging.
