How is Petagine performing? I havent heard anything about him since he injured himself in spring training.
EDIT: Nevermind, I dug them up myself and the numbers are good.

With the needs in the pen and our continual restocking of the minors, there's no reason why both of these guys couldn't bring a decent return for us.
Minor league news....
Jacoby Ellsbury got signed and sent to Lowell to get his season started. That leaves Craig Hansen as the only guy who's unsigned, and man do we need this guy! I'll probably head over there to see this kid play, but Monday I'm making my first trip to Portland to watch the Sea Dogs. Should be fun.Comment

Originally posted by camulosI'll be at Sundays game. Look for me heckling everyone who steps into the Yankees on deck circle. I think the game's on ESPN.
And regarding Millar, you guys need to get rid of him now. He's not good for anything but some quotes in the paper anymore. I'd much rather see Olerud at 1st and Youkilis up doing some damage.
Or you could always put Big Papi at 1st and DH someone else like Mirabelli.

Re: Official Boston Red Sox 2005 Thread
Anyone else watch the ESPN fact or fiction with Buster O and Drew R. last night? Drew seems to think papelbon is going to be up in our rotation by the end of the year
Also, there were reports of a Millar for Qualls(rp- Hou) last weekend, but it doesn't seem like anything came out of those. And yes, I agree that if Millar doesn't get his act together during the yankee series we should ship him off for anything we could get. Maybe even package him and Soppach together for something.Comment

Originally posted by camulosNice. I'm going to the Sea Dogs game on Saturday.
We're getting tickets from Deschenes so we're hoping to hang out with him and some of his teammates (mainly Hanley!) after the game so I'll bring my camera just in case.
Did you catch the AA All Star game up in Portland last night? Hanley drops one into right, steals 2nd, decides to take 3rd as well, then scores on a wild pitch. These guys can't get to the show fast enough, so I'm going to them!Comment

What the hell are the fans thinking that Nixon would've caught that. He had no chance in hell of catching that and they are acting like its Boston's version of Bartman.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment
