Nice to see the Sox beat up on a good pitching staff, because let's face it, there wasn't much need to be impressed after destroying the Rangers' arms.

I went to take a shower after Ortiz hit that 3-run blast, I was surprised when I saw the final score. Hopefully this was just a bad outing from Schilling and nothing more, as his stuff has been improving with each outing it seems.

Wells has been very solid since coming off the DL, and at times spectacular. I hope he keeps it up and gets his suspension reduced, whenever MLB finally decides to hear his appeal.

I'm really enjoying his 3.00 ERA and .209 opponent batting average as a reliever (not including tonight's performance). Although, I'm enjoying that 5 game lead in the division a lot more

I knew Remlinger's best days were behind him, but he still has yet to record an out with the Red Sox. I didn't see the game tonight, but it looks like the Red Sox handled the other Cy Young candidate very well. I like the way this team is playing right now, even if the pen still sucks.

Now if the game isn't needed to decide something at the end of the year, do we have to make it up since we dont have games aginast them again?

As of now, no. The only common off day is Sept. 5th, but the players would have to approve that since it would mean playing for more than 20 days in a row. I don't see them making it up unless absolutely necessary.
