Ishii looked very good tonight, outdueling Willis. Wish he can cut down on the walks, he threw 3, but other than that he looked good.

still took the series. Let's go get Zona and the Giants this week. 4-2 this week would be good.

The Mets were swept by ATL, gave the yanks two games stat they could've/should've won...and we still find ourselves only 3 games out. To me, the glass is half full. We could be about 7 games out with nothing to shoot for. The Mets still need one more stable bat in the lineup. They should stay on top of the availability of Mike Sweeney (I know he is a defensive/injury questionmark) and Todd Helton (I know, monstrous contract and he is slumping). Pedro, thus far, has been much better than the Media said he'd be and I think Benson is going to have a really good year. If Ishii and Zambrano can get some control, they can be 2 solid pitchers. I still don't know what clavine your going to see out their. This team still has a shot at the NL East.

I know alot of Met fans that hated Seo last year, but are screaming for him to be brought up this year. Good to see that someone still realizes that Seo is mediocre at best. I'll take my chance with ishii/Zambrano

The potential is there for Seo to be a VERY good pitcher in someone's rotation, but he hasn't realized it yet. You see some of what he's done this year, and say.. oh yea, he's definitely gotta be in the Mets rotation. However, there are other times where he can't get guys out. He has good stuff, better than Zambrano's, I'd say, but.. there's something missing.

If Seo can keep his pitch counts down he'd be the #4 starter. He just can't keep his pitch count down (meaning he can't get outs or throws too many balls).

except much worse. Seo can't even make it out of the 4th inning. Zambrano at least gives us hope every so often.

Seo actually has done a lot better this year in his brief starts compared to the retread Zambrano.. he had probably his only good game of the year tonight

To be fair to Zambrano he has pitched a little better during his past 3 starts.

nope, this game isn't on extra innings. I'm getting tired of this.

there was a ball hit to Cameron in right By Jose Cruz Jr, Cameron was closing in on the ball, then he slips, and as he's on the ground he catches the ball while being on his stomach, a web gem for years to come. Anyway Mets just won the game.
