Big week right here. 3 with Phils then 3 with Marlins. They are 1-2 in the WC. We need a 4-2 week at the least coming up here.

Re: Official N.Y. Mets Thread
ok - now i am superly ticked off.. the mets are thinking of dealing Traschel to the sox for what seems to be amounting to some RP & eithe John Olreud or Roberto Petagine... uh. i guess the 8 innings of ball he threw meant nothing, but oh yes, they must enjoy watching Zambrano walk the world & give up plenty of runs before he goes... well - i'll hope next year gets betterComment

Originally posted by fsquidMets are in a no-win situation here. Zambrano is pitching well, so is Seo. So you either send him or Benson to the pen. Either one will demand a trade, so the hands are tied.
ps- ESPN.com had something about the mets & sox revisiting the Manny trade after the season was overComment

Originally posted by fsquidZambrano, who has the second lowest ERA on the team since May? Actually, Seo probably has taken him over, but you still get my point. Zambrano would be bitching for a trade too in that situation.
but the odd thing is this.. can Seo & Zambrano keep up the pace? at least w/ Traschel, he eats innings - while putting people to sleep (lol).. and would save the bullpen.. remember, Seo has had all sorts of problems with blisters & such & well Zambrano is .... Zambrano..Comment

Re: Official N.Y. Mets Thread
I have ZERO manager experience. But, I'd say give it to the guys who have gotten you here. Put the ball in Zambrano and Seo's hands. That's just my philosophy, everyone is different. Heck, I'm just elated to have games that matter this late.Comment
