I guess the positive for them is they don't have any bad losses, and they'll get chances to knock off good teams in conference, including road games at Charlotte, Xavier, Rhode Island and Dayton. What sucks for them is the only teams they get to play twice are LaSalle, St Bonaventure, and Fordham.

If they can manage to go 11-5 or better in conference, including a win or two at one of those big road games, I think they go dancing.

Best part about the A-10 this year is there's plenty of high RPI teams (4 in the top 25; 7 in the top 65) so hopefully that will outweigh the few really bad teams in the conference.

It's killing me that the Flyers-Rhode Island game isn't going to be on TV.

Not too often 2 ranked A-10 teams play.

It might be viewable online. Check www.daytonflyers.com for more info on watching UD games online.

Wow! UH/UMass game is up and down, big shots, dunks, mo swings. It does seem weird for me to see UMass running and gunning. Last I saw them, Padilla and Travieso were in the backcourt.

Pretty good game, not a lot of D though but I'm not complaining.

              It's on CSTV, btw.

Minutemen win 95-89 -- come back from 13 down in the 2nd half. They're superfast.

Wow, as much as I like when A-10 teams win OOC games, Akron sounds like they got hosed against Dayton. The refs give Akron 2 free throws when they were fouled on long shot attempt because they say he was fouled before the act of shooting.

How far is "long" in this case? I'm not surprised if it was a half-court shot or longer.

                      Re: The Atlantic 10 Thread

Big night for the league. UMass and Dayton both pick up good wins. Not marquee names they were playing, but two teams that have legit NCAA hopes and both came ready to play. Plus Rhode Island and Duquesne both take care of business.

If Xavier wins their next two and URI, UD, X and UMass finish as the top 4 teams in league play, then the A10 will get those 4 teams in the big dance. If Duquesne finishes in the top 2 of the league they will have a good case for a bid, but they don't have a great win and will need to finish high and get at least a couple wins against the top 4 in the league.

I'd say it's a safe bet that 3 will get in, a decent shot it will be 4 but a bit of a long shot to see anymore than that.

The free-throw line on the other side of the court. I know Gregory instructed the Flyers to foul, which was smart. Wish Sean Miller had done the same against Ohio State last March. I'd like to see a replay of what happened before bashing the refs too much. Got this info from someone who watched the game on Dayton's Channel 7.

Yea i know. Chris Lowe at pg is one of the fastest players in the nation IMO and thats not a bad thing to have in Fords system.

What a great year to be a A-10 fan in general.

I heard that as well. Home court advantage, I guess.
