    Re: The Atlantic 10 Thread

Your boys have been fired up since the UT game, nobody likes to lose but that UT game looks like it lit a fire under that team. Their early A10 schedule is relatively light, if Xavier can win a road game(I was shocked to see they were 0-2 on the road this year) against Auburn they will be in great shape for the next few weeks.

Yeah I know it will be, already checked.

Better than nothing, but still find it annoying watching it on my little laptop screen.

I know what you mean. There are a lot more Xavier games on TV in Cleveland than UD, though I guarantee you there a lot more UD alumns in the Cleveland area than Xavier.

Yeah, what I really used to hate was all the A-10 games that used to be on FOX Sports.
In Cleveland we always used to get the Pittsburgh feed for some reason. Every Saturday it seemed there was a freaking Duquense game on.

Definitely have been WAY more Dayton alumns at the 2 places I have worked. We actually have like a Dayton alumni club where I work now.

From what Sean Miller apparently said on ESPN last night, these seniors do not want to lose again. The last couple of games they're seeing the results of how hard they're playing. The way they played last night (intensity, not missing shots, etc) they would've beaten anyone in the country. No joke. And, the nice thing is, even though XU will be talked about, there are two teams ahead of them that are being talked about more - Dayton and URI. Let the targets be on their backs while Xavier hovers a little below the radar.

              WOOO URI!

I thought they would be pretty good with Will Daniels and some other good talent...but man, this is great. Hopefully we are tourney worthy this year!

Well, Xavier (beat Auburn) & St. Bona (beat Bucknell) took care of business this weekend but Charlotte (lost Maryland), La Salle (lost Florida St), and UMass (lost Vandy) all lost heartbreakers.

Conference play is up next. Fellow A-10 fans, it's been fun. Now you are the enemy.

Hey Slim - I'm a UMASS grad and I have tickets to the Xavier game later this month. I agree, this season has been fun so far, but all good things must come to a end.

I hope Drew Lavender and the boys get A LOT of rest before they come to Amherst becuase my boys play FULL THROTTLE basketball for 40 minutes!

Should be a good one. Might see 180 combined points scored! I know that game scares me. My dad and I are talking about flying up there for the game just for the hell of it. He thinks there will be tickets available. I told him we'd have a better chance getting tickets to their game against SLU than in Amherst. Anyway, good luck in conference play...except on 1/27.

7 PM ET on CSTV. I'll be at the XU/St. Bona game. I'm tempted to stay home and watch this one instead though.

Wait which game is on CSTV tonight?

                            UD v RI?

If so when did that happen? As of last week there was no TV coverage.

EDIT: Nevermind I see it on the front page of their site. This is awesome. Just like 10 posts up we were talking about how it sucks we will have to watch it online.

Yeah, my bad. My post didn't indicate that at all. Anyway, should be a good one tonight at UD. Like I said, I'm tempted to stay home and watch it instead of going to the XU game.
