Re: 2010 Recruiting Discussion Thread
Let HBFU aka Benedict Barnes have his fun now. Iriving already broke his boy Marshall's ankles once this week. http://www.ballislife.com/video/mcdo...erican-day-1-2 44 sec mark"The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Re: 2010 Recruiting Discussion Thread
It seems Knight may have verbally committed. So I agree with that one.
With Leslie it is a bit different. If he would make a decision based on what he wants, he will be at UK next year. But unfortunately there are a lot of people trying to get him to go to NC State and I really don't know who will win that battle. Hopefully Cal will, but it is no where near a given.
UK already has Kanter and Poole. If they can get Knight, Selby, Leslie and Jones then it would be a ridiculous class. But we'll see how many of those, if any, end up at UK.
But you never know when you are dealing with Cal, he is such a great recruiter that it'll come all the way down to signing day.Comment

Good ole Jay, always taking shots at the Triangle teams. Go to Raleigh and ask any fan, and they would love to have CJ to go with the 5 star PG coming in next year.Comment

Leslie scheduled a visit to UConn in two weeks. Interesting, didn't think he'd even waste his time with us."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: 2010 Recruiting Discussion Thread
Like Ehh mentioned, Leslie will visit UCONN, along with Florida. Doron Lamb will meet with St. John's coach Steve Lavin, although I doubt he will really consider them. UCONN gets a commitment from 2011 PG Shabazz Napier.

Re: 2010 Recruiting Discussion Thread
Nah not mad, but I'm gonna enjoy Singler and company taking this clown down a few pegs. Bullock to me is public enemy #1 for dogging Singler, and Smith. I can't wait till he comes to Cameron in Feb. Let's see if he can cash those checks he so eloquently wrote in those vids online. Even Benedict Barnes had to help walk him back from those comments.President of the Devils Den

Re: 2010 Recruiting Discussion Thread
I'm assuming the contract extension that Pitino signed has finally sealed the deal on Marquis Teague. He is supposed to announce next week.
He is a very good player and one that Pitino/UL could really use. In fact, I'm not sure that Pitino has ever coached/had a pg of his caliber.#WeAreUKComment

Re: 2010 Recruiting Discussion Thread
I always liked Jay Williams the player....but Jay Williams the announcer is brutal. When asked which Duke player Kyrie Irving reminded him of during the McDonald's game, he said: "Kyrie Irving reminds me of myself with the way he can score the basketball." I nearly choked on my food when I heard that. A bit conceited are we Jay?"He who controlleths the backboard, controlleths the game." - Adolph RuppComment

Re: 2010 Recruiting Discussion Thread
He kept telling K he was coming, and when he decided not to he didn't even bother K to say "I'm sorry that you worked to get me to come to Duke for 2 years and I'm gonna go with Roy." No phone call nothing. Battier at least called Dean and at least got hung up on.President of the Devils Den

Re: 2010 Recruiting Discussion Thread
When Kyrie was joking around and said "you were supposed to come play with me", you could tell HBFU was uncomfortable/didn't know what to say.Comment
