Delayed his decision again. Jerry Meyer said he is hearing whispers it may be UK which would be a shock but totally awesome

Exactly and Roy has been looking in the JuCo ranks too. LOL at Tarhole fans that made fun of K looking at Felix and signing him. Hypocrites. *not the ones on OS though*

What JuCo prospects are Roy looking into? I have no idea why people hate on signing JuCo recruits. I have some friends that play JuCo and alot of those prospects are better then alot of players I see being recruited today.

It's really tough to tell with juco's because you have a better chance of finding a virgin in a brothel than you do finding defense in a juco game.

Being able to play organized ball in a real system is a big, big change from the juco ranks. How many juco's average like 35ppg and then come to a high-major and don't even start? Juco is almost like the NBA back in the day with the crazy inflated stats.

I was dying laughing when I read this. You have a very, very good point. My thing is, you see the same thing on the AAU circuit. Many guys get the title of "great defender" simply because they're the only ones out there playing D! Having been around the AAU circuit for years, the only time I noticed people playing defense were if they were down in the last two minutes, or if it was the championship game. It is indeed tough to gauge JuCo prospects. You have to look back at their HS background and other things, they sometimes have academic issues that hold them back, but there definitely are some hidden gems in JuCo that I could see playing high level basketball.

Me either and I agree, but I've heard Roy had his assistants down in Florida for JuCO tournaments.

Believe it or not his brother can get up too although he's not explosive like that and he can shoot, pass, cross halfcourt and not look lost.
Yep,alot of players are though. If Rivers came and we had a shot at a title I think he would stay.

We would be worrying about Stricland,Henson,or Zeller leaving by then also, considering Ed Davis is gone too

Top 35 player Luke Cothron is deciding between Alabama/Auburn/Marquette soon. He's still debating whether he wants to take his OV's to Auburn and Marquette(he already took one to Alabama).

If he doesn't take them, he's coming to Alabama. Would be a huge, huge, huge, huge pickup.

WWW has handed over the reigns to Maverick Butler. He was the guy sitting next to the three UK players at the McDonalds game.

Duh, because those three (former) UK players don't get WWW attention anymore. He's out focusing on recruits, he doesn't have time to waste on petty things like current UK players!

no they are all still on the same team. WWW is going off to go the agent thing with the coaches, so Butler is the man now.

Just curious, fsquid, but were you this infatuated with WWW when Cal was at Memphis and did you post about it constantly? And I am being serious and not trying to start anything. Just seems you have ramped up your WWW talk in the past year but you may have always talked about it before and I just didn't notice.

I can confirm he talked about him when Cal was at Memphis.
There is a decent read in ESPN the mag about WWW this week.
It is written by anonymous NBA player.

Thanks Jake. I wasnt around this forum too much reading a lot of posts so I really wasn't sure. I will check out the article when I get a chance.

Fsquid seems to know more about him than the avg Joe.
