Re: The 2009/2010 Big East Thread
I managed to find a stream on the net.
They played pretty well on the road vs a decent Tulane squad. The offense ran smoother than last year. They got their offense initiated quicker than last year and Monroe played well, so did the frosh Hollis Thompson. He looked really relaxed out there, same with Jason Clark who was up & down.
We have Temple at home on Tuesday. It's a 4pm game so someone will be leaving work early that day since I work right across from the Verizon Center.Comment

Pitt opens tonight at home against Wofford. This should be an interesting game. Pitt is obviously more talented, but the experience difference is staggering; Wofford's starters have started 113 games in their career, while Pitt's have started 1 (Gary Maghee started 1 game when Blair sat out last year). We should win, but it might be tighter than you would initally think.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

Re: The 2009/2010 Big East Thread
Louisville opens up with Arkansas tomorrow night in St. Louis. Good game for the Cardinals to open with, Arkansas will be a good gauge to see where this year's Louisville team is at. Very curious to see if Pitino will open with the 3 guard lineup of Siva, Sosa, and Smith.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

I have Friday's game on my DVR, still have to record it to my PC though. I'm going to make a season highlight reel at the end of the year, and possible a Sticks mix too."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

UofL tips off in a little over a hour. Finally....the wait is over.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: The 2009/2010 Big East Thread
Ugh. Gtowns offense is still some trash. JT3 is a good recruiter but his X's & O's leave a lot to be desired. Every crucial time we needed a bucket he called TO and came out with no play drawn up, just ran the motion offense until 5 secs left on the clock.
It's going to be another stressful year in the Nation's capital.Comment
