At one point late in the first half they showed the FG percentages for both teams on the scoreboard and UNH was 3-20 while Pitt wasn't much better at 6-23. Things got a little better for Pitt in the second half as the went on to win 47-32. Pitt wound up shooting 40.5% from the field while UNH shot a woeful 23.5%. The game was marred by poor shooting, poor ball control, and turnovers (Pitt 16, UNH 13).
I have seen many basketball games like this. The Fans stand and clap until Syracuse scores, I have seen SU not score in over 7 basketball minutes, which can be pretty exhausting for the arms.

Well...I fully expect Louisville to lose tonight vs Charlotte. Louisville will be without, Preston Knowles, Peyton Siva and Jerry Smith for tonights game. In fact, Jerry Smith will be out for about a week or two after straining his achillies' tendon.

3 of our top 4 backcourt guys out. Chris Brickley and Mike Marra will be relied on heavily tonight.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I can't believe that NC State was able to beat Marquette. I guess losing James does make a difference.

Naa. Losing Matthews & McNeal hurts. James was hurt too much and was inconsistent anyway. He really didn't improve from FR to SR year.

Marquette still has the ugliest uniform in CBB.

I gotta admit, I am kinda Nervous about the Syracuse/Florida game on Thursday. Every Year Syracuse has a let down game, and right now Syracuse has been playing about as good of basketball as you can.

That Being said, I think Syracuse goes into Florida and beats them pretty easily.

I don't think it will be as easy as you think. UF has some really good players too with size and versatility. The only reason I see Cuse winning is because UF doesn't have too many good 3pt shooters.

Thats exactly why I think Syracuse wins this one handily. The Achilles heel of the 2-3 zone is good 3 point shooting, take that away and it can get ugly. Syracuse has as good of a front court as I have ever seen for a college basketball team.

I am only going by what I have seen so far this year, and this is easily the Best Syracuse team i have ever seen (so Far). This is a amazingly unselfish team where everyone on the court can go for 20 any given night.

Easy there. This years frontcourt is nowhere even close to the best Cuse frontcourt of all time. Melo/Warrick/Forth and DC/Seikly or Owens/DC/Leron Ellis.

Jackson, Johnson, and Onuaku are as good defensively as all of those guys, but all three of this years front can score. Fourth couldn't score and Seikly couldn't score

about 20 years, There has been better front courts in College Ball, I am not gonna deny that. But I get to watch these guys every time they play and they are the real deal.

Seikly could score a hell of a lot better than Onaku & Jackson.

Seikly/Owens/DC/Melo/Warrick are some of the best players to ever play in the BE not to mention 4 of them were lottery picks. Wesley Johnson will probably be a lottery pick but Onaku & Jackson aren't sniffing the NBA. I know you're hyped about your team but cmon man, it's not like the Cuse has had slouches in the past 25 years.

Mind you this is coming from a gtown fan.
