First, the guys you are talking to don't control whether or not VC is used. It seems to be a model that the WHOLE INDUSTRY is moving to and you're going to have to give up gaming if you don't like it. Period. Get over it.

Sure, JO is old and we need a backup point guard, but Austin Rivers is not the answer and JO is serviceable for another year or so. I'd be looking to trade Speights.

Then they get ANOTHER backup PG for KLAY AND a 2nd rounder that we don't even have? Ahahahahahaha.

Holy NUTS, we gave away Barnes for an old Vince Carter and Jae Crowder? Completely lateral at best and horrible at worst.

AND we also gave away Draymond for Randy Foye? Why?! Draymond is an important piece of our defensive puzzle (who's also underrated in the game for starters).

Barnes I can understand in some insane, you-don't-understand-basketball sort of way. Non Warriors fans speculate that Barnes' development is going to get hampered because he's coming off the bench, but the plan was always for him to get starter minutes anyway. He's also a 2nd year and perfectly content to get with the program, but the 2K morale engine thinks anyone rated over 70 would be unhappy as a Sixth Man, which is pretty dumb. They should just treat Sixth Man as a borderline starter unless the player is in their high 80's or 90's, like someone suggested.

Klay, I don't get. Klay is practically untradeable right now unless it's for an All-Star.

Oh, in my edit I noticed they traded TD for something insignificant. No biggie. But the Warriors trading their entire bench aside from the one guy that should be traded by Jan?! Insane.

Yeah I don't get Klay. But I think when the roster update finally comes out, his rating and potential will be amended. HOPEFULLY that cuts back on some of these guys getting traded

And after his trade, the Warriors have NO real SGs. Nice going, Bob Myers. No, I don't consider an old VC a replacement SG.

The trade engine should be trying to build teams with pieces that compliment and work together in one of several molds, depending on the franchise, coach, and existing personnel. Once they have those complimentary pieces, they should be more hesitant to break that up if it's working.

But these trades don't even make sense in terms of straight up value.

This is just another thing that needs to be patched before I consider buying this game. The option to turn off CPU trades! I don't get why they don't understand that some of us want our Associations (or whatever it is they call it now) to mirror the ACTUAL NBA. Also, the option to turn off player roles and morale. C'mon. Just put it back to the way it was last year.

We won't get an option to turn them off, the mode is driven by the morale system unfortunately, turning it off would essentially "break" the mode.

There's a fix on the way that tweaked the player morale system, just a matter of time now to see if it helps or not.

This is EXACTLY what they should be trying to accomplish, and it should be based off of your 3 best players and their ages.

Even then, the volume of trades is way too high, and the player roles are asinine for 1st and 2nd year players to be demanding trades. Then there's the other thread where Durant wants a 4 year deal for $18 million dollars total...CRIMINY!

hopefully, but highly doubt, they add back in 30 team classic association for those of us who want it, and then this thread next year can keep progressing the fixes for mYgm for the guys that want them for morale, trades, etc.

given their track record with fixes, i believe (maybe they will surprise) it will be years before they tweak enough to get it playable without this type of thread being needed.

Well, I wanted to give them a shot at a patch before I made my decision, but that $40 Amazon deal on PS3 is looking better and better. If they can't fix morale, couldn't the option of turning off CPU trades fix it without breaking anything?

Where have you read this? All the impressions I got centered on aspects outside of MyGM. I think its great if they actually do something but I keep hearing about them fixing saves, inability to use rosters, crashes and a few bugs.

I won't call it unplayable but all these irrational trades and the fact that you can't really have a true 6th man really hurts the ability to build a team.
