what about controlling the slider? like lowering CPU hustle point, defense awareness and steal success....
for me, it helped a lot and now I am satisfied with the current game, not 100% though.

Unfortunately it's hard coded into the game for the cpu to pound the ball inside. Even with massive roster changes and slider adjustments, they still just charge at the rim. Either that or they stand around like they're confused. My suggestions, however, do make it sooooooo much better.

What if you uninstall the game on Xbox?

The new install would be the patched version.

We've won a number of games either from the opponent missing a buzzer beater or us making one.

I don't see any of the cheesing that the OP was saying. The CPU catches up to me when I'm on cruise control, or not really paying attention, but if I have a solid lead, I can maintain or run it up more, as long as I keep with my game plan and not get distracted/bored.
Works as long as you're in the game but if you go out losing by 6 and come back in losing by 20, how is that my fault?

I'm guessing you're talking about my career? You just gotta suck that up. It is stupid especially if you're putting up good numbers but now that I'm a star on the team I'm always on the court. Wishing they would sub me out for a bit lol

I was just pointed to this thread and unfortunately I have to agree. It's enough for me to stop playing the game entirely. I'll be waiting for MLB 14.

I was stupid enough to try this game a few more times. I'm a grown man and I seriously feel like I'm 12 again going into rage mode. I can't remember a time that a video game made me this mad. It's definitely time for me to put this one away for good. When I literally start yelling and cursing the screen, that's not good. I don't see how anyone can deny that CPU cheese doesn't exist. It's so blatant and ridiculous. It completely ruins the game.

Dominate the whole game and then when the CPU decides they don't miss. Perfect defense, doesn't matter. Oh, I blocked your shot, doesn't matter you got it back and made a three. Wide open layup to stop your run, oh, I missed it. I'm 100% done with this game.

It doesn't exist. And if it does (which I don't think it does), it's not in the way you describe.

But yeah. If you rage that hard, we'll at least agree that it's a good move to put the game away.

You've stated time and again that you don't think it exists, and that's all good and well. But those of us who are 2k veterans and who do see it blatantly tend to disagree with you. It's not in the way Gagnon describes? Says who? You? Since you haven't seen it personally. I've seen it on Rookie, I've seen it on Pro, I've seen it on All Star.

Now, I've been provided with a digital download copy of the game for PS4 again. I'm going to try to give it some playtime this weekend to test some things and hopefully provide additional positive feedback for fixing these legacy issues.

Gagnon, put the controller down and walk away.

Oh, so you don't even own the game and rip me? Am I reading that right?

I'm on Pro and it doesn't exist.

My 39 point beat-down of Brooklyn and my 18 point win against San Antonio disagrees with you. As does the games when I was manhandled twice by GS.

So it's a comeback logic that only exists occasionally? Tell me, is it hard coded in the game? If so, how does the system "know" when to cheat?

Yeah. A discriminatory comeback AI makes sense! Not really. What does make sense is a thread with hundreds of posts and ZERO video evidence. Which has been asked for over and over.

I does exist people wouldn't be on here saying it happens if it doesn't. How can you tell somebody it didn't happen the way they described it like you where there ?

I played it on the 360 and PS4 and it is extremely worse on the PS4.

If it doesn't happen to you that's cool or maybe your just naive to it.

I guess this didn't happen either?

Did you read my last posts?

Explain to me beating down Brooklyn by 39. Did the game just choose to not cheat that day? Honest question. I'd love to hear your response on that.

Perhaps I was too vague when I said it doesn't happen the way he described it. So I'll elaborate.

The game has badges and things which clearly state that certain players can improve in ways during the fourth quarter. Others create team rhythm, etc, etc, etc. Sorry I can't recall the exact names of them now but I will provide them later if someone wants them.

I'm of the opinion that if it does indeed exist, which I don't believe, it's the badges and things like it being misinterpreted as comeback AI.

Hence, not the way he describes it. Sorry for being too vague earlier.

I'm not going to argue because it's not that big of a deal. I was asked to play it again after the patches to see my thoughts. One of the first plays of the game an ignorant sequence plays out that just seriously doesn't make any sense.

On the first page of the thread I posted that I played the same 2nd half of the game 4-5 times, with the same outcome. Bumped it down to rookie, and same ignorant outcome. It's not just me, there are a LOT of PM's in my inbox that guys mentioned the same stuff. There are games that are good, competitive and great experiences. But there are games that are just flat out pitiful. It's not that I'm not playing well, but the sliding, morphing, glitching presents itself in such a manner that you lose all ability to enjoy the game.

I can handle losing just fine. I can handle blowing a team out just fine. I love close contested games that feel like a good experience. I don't enjoy passing the ball to a guy, the ball warping into a "fumbling" animation, the opposing PG running up and taking the ball in stride off to the races. Your defender running back alongside the PG, and all of the sudden a forcefield pushes you back away for the computer to continue it's highlight reel play.

In the play I'm uploading, Wolters is coming around off of a curl, Knight underhands the ball to him. The ball SHOULD of been caught around the chest, however the ball warps down to his shins inexplicably, he goes into a fumble the ball animation, and Patrick Beverly is in full stride dribbling down the floor with it next thing you know. Ilyasova is gaining ground from behind, when a Beverly forcefield bumps him back into an electric shock type of animation. It just makes ZERO sense.

                              <iframe width="640" height="390" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/egrJsSl_1co" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

                              <iframe width="640" height="390" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/a3hIrm6Bh7I" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I wish this weren't the case, but I'm seeing it more often than not. I'm going to try to find a slider set that tweaks this.

The game CAN be gorgeous. But this legacy stuff has to go away.

In terms of comeback ai I have experienced it but only in mygm when my team is either on a winning streak or the other team is on a winning streak. I chalk it up to bull**** and rhythm. It pisses me off when my guys miss open shots but it happens in the nba. I haven't had a time where I missed an open layup though. The thing that is annoying though that I've noticed is how at times regular passes will sometimes just not be caught by the intended catcher and result in a TO. No he didn't get caught up on a defender it just seems like the pass was horribly off and the passer wasn't cold for ball handling
