I have to be honest, and this is the FIRST time I have ever done this. I am picking up the version for both systems. I already have the XBOX one and going to get the ps4. I have a friend from work who just bought and XBOX ONE for this game. lol. If I had to choose one, I would go PS4 if it came down to it. I have friends on PSN and LIVE so hopefully they fix netcode.

Re: 2K15 on Xbox One vs. PS4 - Pros and Cons
I have both systems and just picked it up for the Xbox one. I want to try out the face scanning feature but don't want to spend money on a ps4 camera that I'll never use. Small Graphical differences don't bother me, Just as long as the gameplay is the same.Comment

There's also something fun about the Xbox one and the friends tab, showing all the notifications a achievements and the clips. Well now I can justify keeping my ps4 even if I'm not going to game on it at this point. The NHL GameCenter app is far better on the PlayStation then it is on the Xbox.Comment

Biggest difference between the two versions:
Online, player indicators are present on ps4 but NOT on xb1. What's 2k answer for this?#SIMNATION

For the people that said the PS4 is brighter and more saturated, would changing the TV settings help make the One look better?Gig'em Aggies!Comment

I'm really happy we have a group of educated, smart dudes on here.
I have a proposal - how about we keep this thread going over the next couple of days so that we can continue to give insights on which is the best?
It looks like xbox one is beginning to regain some momentum. I'm still on the fence myself.
Are we absolutely sure PS4 has better graphics, or are we dealing with output settings that can be adjusted?
And yes, the friend feed on Xbox One is superior. I feel like logging onto PS4 can be an empty experience sometimes in comparison.Comment

Re: 2K15 on Xbox One vs. PS4 - Pros and Cons
Breakdown after my experience of both ps4 and Xbox one
Graphics:
PS4 has more solid colors.
PS4 Colours are richer
Players have a more realistic gloss to them
Winner: PS4 edge by maybe 8%
Gameplay:
PS4 faster player movement/gameplay
Winner: Xbox One. PS4 seems 7-8% too fast.
Facescan:
Xbox's scan gave me 1600 ref points tops. Came out way off giving me too dark of a face.
PS4 seemed to stay longer on the white detection screen providing me with an avg of over 2000 points with no green square problems. Complexion is not the most accurate, but I think can be fixed with better lighting.
Winner: PS4
Controls:
Everyone has their own preference. I like Xbox ones controller personally. Never been a fan of playstation controllers.
Server:
Xbox one servers were up and running ps4 servers were down for me.
Winner: Xbox One (as of now - since Sony has acknowledged their server issues.
Conclusion:
Both systems are great. If you are into having a great face scan that resembles you and gets you excited to play my player then PS4 is the one to get. As mentioned on previous posts. If you like xbox ones features I would go with the xbox one. Seems balanced out depending on what you like more of is the one you should go with.
Since, I don't think there is any excuses for xbox one's unstable facescan and the slight superiority over graphics I prefer the PS4 version slightly. If I were to give a rating, and the Xbox One was a 9, I would give the PS4 version a 9.2/10.Last edited by aylmer1981; 10-09-2014, 12:37 AM.Comment

Re: 2K15 on Xbox One vs. PS4 - Pros and Cons
Okay I found the game speed slider and turned it down to 40 on PS4 from 50 and plays much better IMO. So for me at least, that issue is resolved as I agree the PS4 was more enjoyable at a slightly slower pace on the X1. I will say at this point, people should get the PS4 version without a doubt IF the servers hold up for a good online experience. The only think I am missing is the "xbox record that" lol. BTW is there a way to share game play on ps4 when you hit the share button other than facebook? I am really enjoying the game. I saw a review that this is just an "add on" to 2k14. I couldn't disagree more. This is a graphic upgrade, and so many small things done much better.Comment

Can we also talk about how annoying it is to charge the PS4 controllers? I didn't have that in a Con because that wasn't specific to 2k15, but with rumble in the game now, the juice on these things will go down quickly. Nothing more frustrating than wanting to hop in and play only to have to charge...Comment

Re: 2K15 on Xbox One vs. PS4 - Pros and Cons
The charging controllers drives me nuts. I'm back on the fence again thanks to that awesome post. I have NEVER cared about the slight graphical difference in a game so I'm still leaning towards xbox. I also have no desire to scan my face and how my player. I'm typically just a franchise guy.Comment
