That is not "shot fatigue". "Shot fatigue is a stupid term that is made up, you don't get tired shooting jump shots during a regular game. Players get tired from playing defense, running around screens, etc. Players lose stamina, so they don't have as much lift in their jump shots which is the real "shot fatigue". Players lose energy so they don't have as much lift in their jump shots which cause the actual percentages to dip. 2K implemented it wrong, stamina should affect shooting percentages more rather than making EVERY JUMPER MISS once you cross a magical threshold of shots.
In a 3 Point shootout, players only get tired because they have to jump consecutively 25 times in one minute without any breaks. They have to run to racks and shoot 5 jumpers then switch to the next. In an actual game, players won't attempt 5 jump shots in 10 seconds. They have an actual resting period before a play starts such as standing in a corner waiting for a screen.
TLDR; Fatigue actually exists in game but not in the form of "Shot fatigue." Players get tired running fast breaks, through screens, playing hard defense. In 2k15, stamina does indeed affect shot percentages and they could make it affect it even more rather than making u miss EVERY WIDE OPEN jumpers once u pass 25 shots. THAT IS NOT SIM BASKETBALL. People use 3 point shoot outs as an example for "shot fatigue" but try jumping 25 times in 1 minute, running from rack to rack. OF COURSE YOU WILL GET tired a bit which causes you to miss more.
