Or maybe you really really suck, and expect the game to play for itself without having to make the proper adjustment, or have no real understanding of basketball other than forcing your way into the paint or shooting threes, but who am i to say.

Or some of us have legitimate complaints about the game and realize that it isn't always as black and white as some people think it is. It is possible that people could make adjustments and become better at the game and at the same time there could be flaws and things that are frustrating with the game itself. But who am I to say.

SO where in my original statement did i say the game was prefect, but if you look and read my original response i was commenting on someone saying the game was "really really bad" which it is not, so either the person I was responding to really suck at the game or is over exaggerating, because in no way is this a bad game, it has its issues like most games but to classify it was bad is just one mans opinion which i differ.

Sorry, you are right - you said no such thing. I just think the oversimplification where either the game is "really really bad" or the player "really really sucks" doesn't help anyone. But hey, everyone's entitled to their opinion.

Online ranked IS really really bad.... and that's an understatement.

I felt like i mastered 2k11,2k12 and 2k13.......... 2k through these years was an addiction for me.

the mid range and post up game in 2k12 was amazing, i could destroy anyone with paul pierce or dirk. zero athleticism or cheese.

2k13 post game was broken, too many shots would miss. and the press 1 button instant double team make em pick the dribble up ruined that aspect of it. but you could break down defenses with tony parker or chris paul.

i only played about 7000 ranked games over this time, and in my opinion 2k15 online ranked is really really bad.

I don't understand folks complaining about the CPU players getting "cheats" or bumps over Human players....when those people are playing on All Star or Superstar level.

That's exactly what you get at those levels. The CPU gets artificial bumps to make them harder.

Knowing this...you should probably make incremental decreases in the CPU attribute sliders to compensate for the bumps they get at the "hardest" levels.

Just a thought.

Yep Im hyper sensitive to CPU cheating. I do this, and dont see any.

This game, post patch, is just amazing.

Maybe it's my sliders. I upped speed, quickness, held D strength.

Dropped on ball too 13.

not me. now no actual lane is necessary when driving to the hoop. defenders in the way? no problem just ram into them to pick up automatic free throws…no thanks. i'd rather have it based on skill and vision than these forced bailout fouls just to get realistic stats.

I agree, I knew this was gonna happen when people started complaining about the lack of foul calls. I loved pre patch how I could defend in the paint with my hands up.

Now there isnt much difference between playing a more conservative defensive style vs just going for blocks in terms of foul calling.

There is less offensive strategy because people just run into the paint knowing they will get bailed out with FTs a majority of the time.

The game pre patch was so good...

Played a game few minutes ago in my online league. I'm hitting nothing, my opponent hits some shots, but still not good.
Being down 16 in the 4th quarter with 7 minutes to go I end playing basketball and start playing what I call bull****ball.
I just took my PG, Jrue Holiday, and walked head down straight to the basket, regardless off a defender bumping me. I just walked straight to the basket and pressed shot. Ended in Foul or made layup most of the times.
Game ended with me losing by one, but Paul George had the gamewinning layup on his hands against Dwight Howard and missed it.

It's not fun anymore...I looked at the shotchart after the game. I hit a total of 6 shots outside the paint. 2 Midrangers and 4 3-Pointers... My opponent shot a little bit better but still very bad. I mean...I had some really, really good looks, him too and we both bricked so many open and good shots.

Best shot that stayed in my mind: I passed to Pau Gasol in the Highpost. Jrue Holiday cut to the right corner and got the ball right back. His defender was pinned by Gasol in the highpost and Holiday had a wide open corner three. I hit the release right in the middle and he bricked it badly. Commentator sad "Well that was a bad shot". Why?! Wide open corner three with nearly perfect release? Why is this bad?

I don't know...Maybe it is wrong to try to get the release so that the shotmeter is right in the middle? Maybe you have to release earlier oder much later for shots to go in? Anyone with experience in this?


It's just my percentages took a big hit after the patch. Before, I shot around 36% from deep, which was upper-average in my league. After the patch, the percentage went down to 25% at a maximum. I had one game with 40% but on the other side I also had games with 10%...

Downloaded 2K15 tonight and it is installed. However, when I start the game I get a message saying to return to the main menu and install the latest update. I do that and it says I have the latest update. What do I do to actually get the game to play?

Interesting impression. What difficulty are you guys using in your league? Post patch adjustment was a little rough shooting wise in our league on hof sim; but it seems a week later, people are starting to find their shooting touch and the pcts are starting to creep up for 3s and mids. I agree with you on the bailout fouls for reckless rim attacks being rewarded.

can't get any shots in gawd damn. Even in Real Player %, horrendous. I even went to practice and saw how I would fare with real timing + shot feed back. I can never get perfect release anymore its always slightly early or slightly late.

Good news is the game is downloaded so I have access to all modes. The bad news ... I'm lost in the menus.

How do you download the latest roster updates? Where is 2K Share? Do you need Plus to access the roster files?

Was a little tired of playing MLB 14 The Show (been playing this game only for the last months) so I was fooling around looking at reviews of FIFA 15, Madden 15, NBA 2K15, etc.

My wife said why don't you pick up NHL 15, you love hockey. I explained how this game was making me sick and she said : "Then, if you dislike what EA Sports doing, then why don't you grab NBA 2K15 since you've played a lot of NBA 2K14?".

Great idea. Downloaded the game last night, was up this morning and started to play. All I have to say so far is that this game is really amazing. I don't know how it was before patch but so far, I'm having a blast. It ain't perfect, but in comparison with NHL 15, it's just...well, it's obvious.

It's going to be great game to change the pace until late march when MLB 15 The Show hit the shelves. :-)
